That video is killer. That last minute is something alot of guys on RVF, especially the newbs, need to watch. Women are not needed for friendship at all. That is what your male friends are for. This guy totally gets it. Are we sure he is not a member here, a commenter on ROK, or affiliated with any other Manosphere groups?

I notice this as well. Its almost if the girl feels too inferior to you or something or not up to par with you. When I dress up or look more GQ. I notice the cuter girls become more receptive and shy, while the more average or mediocre girls blow me off completely.

It also depends on the kind of style of the woman. If she dresses like those punk rocker girls or more ghetto, obviously if you step to them dressing GQ, you will intimidate them for sure.

Maybe he doesn't have to GQ it up with a suit, how about a nice tshirt or button down shirt and a trim? I think those minor upgrades would put you in a higher bracket.

I honestly think this is one case where theory and reality are two different things.
Trust me I love clothes, got a pretty decent wardrobe. A lot of the stuff I hardly wear, not going to wear out my good clothes for work or going to the mall.
Girls may have a dream guy in their mind, ultimately they date guys that aren't the finished product. I think we can all agree women are insecure, they can't handle a guy that is better than them.

Clothes have always been a big thing to me, and have been since I was a kid. But I've noticed that while we all know they can get you positive attention, they can also act like a barrier. Everything about this guy is very open and easy, and his dress only helps with this.

Incidentally, this guy would kill it with young middle class white girls here in the UK.

It's unrelated.

They can still be hypergamous constantly seeking upgrades all the while making sure the men they chase are not much better than them.

Hypergamy in relation to LTR or ONS has other factors as well.

Have you ever approached a chick and she ever tell you flat out that you are too good for her or just too much, even though she thinks you are super cute? I did many years ago. After I left her alone, I saw her give another dude her number, who honestly looked worse than me and was less polished. I found out later that same night that she was living with another man too. That was quite the eye opening experience although back then, I had no idea how why it worked that way and all it did back then was just made me angry.

Whoa^ Alan has mad crazy skills if that wasn't 100% staged. Even if it was, that girl was very into that kiss. I could never get an AA to a makeout session that fast, not on my best day. They are too skittish for that, well the ones here are. You usually need up to 4 hours with favorable conditions.

You know what...it would overkill but you could probably run that experiment anywhere and Asia and get very quick drawls anywhere around a college area. You could quickly prescreen out all the 7+ in the area at that. Interesting.

On the clothes topic: This guy is on a college campus. He is actually dressed well for that situation...casual but easy. he also is always rocking some accessories like a hat worn in a unique way or a funky backpack. Most college guys dress much less thoughtfully. The look is also very congruent with his fun/outgoing personality which is key.

Clothes are important always but more expensive and formal is not better unless it fits the situation and more importantly it fits your identity.
