I think so too. Friends of mine did a social experiment with POF, OKC and Tinder with a 1/10 photo of a girl and mentioned something along the lines of "Not looking for anything serious" in the profile. The amount of thirsty guys messaging us was hard to fathom.

Mind you, this was done in Australia, so probably not a major surprise.

If you're on this forum and actively implement the knowledge regarding game, exercise, lifestyle, and money you're in the top 10% of guys at least. We're living in a bubble, nearly blind to what most guys experience.

Just by being on this forum you've already differentiated yourself.

I mean it's not 'normal' to approach women and learn game. How many people can cope with being rejected nonstop or doing 100 approach challenges?

Do an experiment and tell someone you know something like:

Drop some of these lines to 95% of the population and they're going to tell you you're fucking crazy. Here it's a common occurence.

Yah. It's not just the western world, though; all civilization will follow this path. These are biological processes, not cultural. At least, the cultural processes are only manifestations of the biological.

What has changed, to make men this thirsty?

1. Hypergamy and the cock carousel: The old model had a 1:1 pairing process. It actually was a bit better than that, with some of the male population dying young. Now with the sexual free-for-all in youth, the top 20% of guys get laid a LOT more, while the bottom 80% get laid less. This is because if a woman is going to have casual sex, it will be with the most attractive partner, not the best provider. Pair bonds fall, monkey sex rises. There is more sex happening, but not only are the benefits accruing to the top 20%, the bottom 80% are actually getting less.

2. Higher visibility of female sexuality (again, the cock carousel): The bottom 80% are getting laid less and they are more aware of their non participation. They see that not only can a war pig advertise for sex and get it, she WON'T GIVE IT TO THEM! This only makes the thirst worse.

3. Female rights and privileges: With rape hysteria and street harassment phobia, men feel a "cold spike of fear" (thanks, Ezra) whenever seeking out sex. Thus when a woman openly indicates receptiveness, the torrent of thirst is unleashed.

If my theories are correct, we will actually see a rise in sexual violence. Not in overall numbers, but a rise in the sort of extreme sexual violence sometimes seen in India. Thirst is an ugly thing.

On a positive note: Enjoy the decline. Make yourself be in that top 20%. Your sexual opportunities will only be increasing as time goes on.

The future is unknown, and game-changing scientific and technological progress is the only thing that is guaranteed.

LA is thirst central. My sister used to love flying out there to visit because of all the attention she got from guys. ^This. As Giovanny has mentioned, aimming for average is not even trying at life. Too many dudes out there are too afraid to step out and go full on to being in the top 20% of men. Honestly, your average dude isn't that thirsty to the point of going cockroach feeding. I don't understand why some dudes on here are freaking out about this. Your top 20% and above male is typically busy with their lifepath rather being concerned with getting laid at all costs.
