In most places outside the US 5-6k will have you living upper middle class. If you have 10k a month you will be able to save A LOT and reinvest.

For an RV guy $150k is plenty.

You don't need NYC. Stick with abroad or a cheaper place like Montreal in the summer.

I cant question all the money stuff too much, because im not big on real estate. What I want to know is how you drop from 20% BF to 8% within that period. You know how hard that is? and in your case while working that hard and "forsaking self"

Well maybe it's because he has the moniker of one of my favorite villains but his story is not impossible and for a person determined enough, it's very possible

It's not like we have a little dark story going on here and I understand the skepticism. We get so many jackasses in here claiming this or that but right now I'm withholding judgement because I enjoy hearing about success stories like these.

If it's possible for this man, it's possible for all of us.

Even if this turns out to be phony, I think we have a decent template to work from here.

The way this forum works requires enough information to be helpful and then people will be helpful in return. You've been vague and brushed over a lot of important details.

If you've been lurking for awhile you should know this.

Showing up and making extraordinary claims in your first posts requires some more substance.

This place as you said, is a great wealth of information, and many of it's members often remain silent on threads like these because of the reasons I mentioned before.

Break everything down:

What affiliate business model you were in, how you juggled that with your 24/7 work schedule, when you showered, what you subsisted on, what job you took in the oilfield, what made the interview go so well, what bodies of information you looked at to start investing in real estate, how you came to these conclusions, everything.

I can tell you that you're probably at risk of being banned if you can't back any of this stuff up.

You don't want to do that because when you get established here, you automatically have allies from all walks of life and all around the world.

What triggers a b.s. red flag for me here is that he's repeating basic real estate investment knowledge verbatim from biggerpockets podcast and the forum on there but he does not sound like someone who actually invests himself. He's just regurgitating.

I'm familiar with real estate investment and if he's indeed getting 2-4% with all these rental properties he's invested in (with no rehab !) then he can go into detail about the state, neighborhoods, and very specific type of buildings he buys. Just saying he buys super cheap duplexes each that magically don't need rehab and are easy passive investments also sounds like b.s.

The RV is my dream after my biz takes off. My office is located in a place where it gets cold in winter so I'd bail to warmer places for the season. Can stay on relatives' property for a few weeks at a time for free or very little (contribute to power bill).

Matt, I would recommend the Winnebago Rialta. It's what I have and I absolutely love it. I can park on public streets or parking lots without hassle. It's self contained, no hookups necessary. And 20mpg

I have 7 mortgages. The rest were cash purchases. I also did not say 30 buildings, I said 30 units, which in real estate terminology basically means half of a duplex, a third of a triplex, or an entire single family house, etc.

As for your questions: If I were in your shoes, I'd keep one unit that I own (worst, cheapest) furnished with my stuff, while I traveled. That would also serve my "office" for tax purposes.

With $5/K income you can cover a lot of Asia, Africa, and parts of South America very comfortably. Europe and Australia might be a bit trickier depending on your home city/desires, however it is definite do-able.

I recieved an email from Killface that had screenshots from his affliate accounts as well as photos of hard copy bank statements (from the begining of this year) with personal info redacted.

Also a link to an article about him on boxofads.com where he answers some questions about his success up to that point.

He has sent this to me from what appears to be his personal email address and his photo is in the link which he asked me not to include here.

At this point I believe he is who he says he is and if he hasn't done the exact numbers he has claimed, he's done damn close.

Regarding his job and other things that remains to be seen.

We have an affliate genius in our midst.

What I want to know is, how did your success come to such a sudden halt?

In your opinion, could the "proof" you have seen have been falsified/photoshopped or just copied from another source?
For example, if a person had a couple of days or even just a couple of hours free, and wanted to attempt to fool someone or pretend to be someone else could someone with a reasonable degree of computer literacy create and send the same thing?
I'm just naturally skeptical, but I'm not stubborn, and am willing to change my mind based on new information.
