And the beauty of casting him is that his most notable previous work was portraying the epitome of the beat-down beta in "Married ... with Children." You could compare his two TV characters as the perfect description of each type of man.

Sofia Vergara is naturally blonde but she dyed her hair to fit the stereotypical brunette Latina, Her thick accent is part of that, she does not have it when doing interviews.
