One of my boys is from Guyana and we're planning on hitting up the Caribbean Carnival(we'll probably be staying in Barbados though, haven't really decided yet) next year. I'm looking forward to it even more now since you dropped this datasheet.

Trinidad road-march just wrapped up. I might look into Barbados for summer depending on how soon I get back from Mexico City. Plan early if you're going to do it.

Just got finished watching this on VICE:





Vice really does do a good job at ripping countries and making it seem like they are completely war-torn and inhabitable.

But in a way its good as it'll scare off more expats and make it easier for us.

I hit up the carnaval de Barranquilla in Colombia with some fellow RVF dudes, it was a good time, had a few crazy ass moments, fuck ya CARNAVAL!

Any brave soldiers hitting up Barbados or any July-August fete this year? There's no guarantee I'll be on island this year, but feel free to post here if you're planning to.

Barbados is beautiful, especially the Atlantic side of the island, which looks kind of like parts of Hawaii, with the huge boulders in the ocean.

I spent perhaps a week in Barbie maybe 7 years ago - pretty young things abound, all kinds of looks available. A gameless, older and not-good looking friend (the best I could say about him it that he looked kind of like Al Lewis Grandpa from the Munsters), picked up a 23 year old. She eventually came to visit him in Miami. He should have probably married her - he didn't close in Barbie, but perhaps he did in Miami.

Anyway, sees like it would be boiling hot that time of year - which is ok, as it corresponds to very little clothing on the local ladies. The accent is also charming, and the night market was a good spot to go and eat, and potentially pick up some numbers. Advent do you know the nightmarket I am talking about - if I recall its only 1-2 nights per week. I think it was Oistins fish fry, but I am not positive.
