I'm sure book is well know by quite a few here on forum, but I've just finished reading it and was very impressed. Originally saw it hinted at on the Cedonulli blog, which for me often leads to something interesting and wild.

I'll be spending some time in Thailand early 2015 (for the first time), but now I feel I've gained a little cultural background on the darker side of the Land of Smiles. May well come in handy.

Although it is a work of "fiction" it seems to reveal some of the crazy cultural bits which go down in Thailand. Really quite eye opening on the whole bar girl scene, poverty and way shit can go down there. For me it was such a compelling read I couldn't put it down over the few days I was reading it. Also written in a alternative way, telling the different accounts of each character as the story unfolds.

Check it out for free as a complete PDF (author is aware and doesn't mind). Yeah I'm a cheapskate so I read it from here but I've now just bought the kindle version for future reading.
