I met a college girl in a coffee shop last week. Got her info and have been texting. Thinking about setting up to meet for drinks this week.

Thing is, after a brief conversation then checking out her pics on facebook, I realize she's not really that attractive. Maybe a 5.5 tops though her body might be a 6.5 ish .

My thinking is, take her out for drinks anyway for the following reasons:

1. I'm in my 40s ( "look" younger) and it's cool to date younger women in their 20s.
2. She has hot friends from her facebook profile....she plays soccer in college....and she's IN college!
3. If I take her to a kind of happening place, I will "be seen out" with a younger....not really bad looking....woman. a form of social proof.
4. I know some of my exes frequent a few particular bars and it would be cool to be seen with other girls by my exes...some of which I wouldn't mind banging again.
5. Maybe she'll be a fun person/friend.

My conflicts are....I'm not overly attracted to her physically. ( though I'm sure she passes the boner test)
How do I end a date like this? Kiss her? I guess I could bang her but it's on the low end of my looks category.
If I do bang her....it will fuck up the "get in with her so I can be cool with her and possibly meet her friends" category. ( Of course, this may be a bit of a pipe dream because of the age difference)

Anyone out there date/ transform a number you got into a kind of "girlfriend" that you can get social benefits off of without getting romantic with them?

I don't know how bad she looks but you should be thankful a girl that age is talking to you.

Your best bet is meeting her by herself and charm her with better lifestyle you can bring. (you are not planning to meet her at a dive bar for PBR?)
Don't think about meeting her friends. I can't see that happening unless you work in a special industry (film,music, modeling etc)

^ "Thankful a gilr that age is talking to you"....well, I must say....this types of girls are primarily who I hit on and whose numbers I successfully get.

I would hope it would be the other way around on the thankfulness. But I know you have a point:

At the same time, I must also so, Very few of the numbers convert to dates. I thought one reason is because they perceive me as out of their age range after giving me their number.

I've been pondering this sometime and I just know even if I could up the age of girls I approach to 25-30....instead of 18 to 24ish ( yes, I literally got an 18 year old hot girl's number last week. We exchanged texts last week...but she ignored my text last night...lol ) I think I'd do a lot better in converting numbers to dates.

Only thing is, I live in a mid sized city where women in that age range are already taken. There are no young professional single women around here who are attractive....or any single attractive women in that age range for this matter....unless it's once in a blue moon. I've been thinking about checking out Manhattan....

yes you should date a girl for things other than sex. Less pretty girls can be very devoted and caring...ie cooking, cleaning, running errands etc.

Also, they can be threesome gateways/recruiters...mind you they won't be recruiting girls way above their own looks but multiple girls nonetheless.

How in the world did you not realize IN PERSON that she wasn't as attractive as you'd like? That boggles my mind. Never had that happen and I wouldn't understand it happening unless you were seriously drunk or something like that.

This is easy. Meet for drinks somewhere that is upscale but not terribly expensive and not in a place you would normally see other girls. Sorry dude, if she's barely above a 5 and body MIGHT be above a 6, there's not a lot of benefit of spending much time or social spotlight on her. This is the absolute max you should offer her.

Honestly, I'd much rather see you talking about whether it's worth it to invite her over to a "bring the movies" date than meeting her out anywhere.

If you can get a nut off and she can benefit your life in any way (even as a slump buster) cool, but leading her and yourself on by taking her on date(s) is out of left field here.

Be reasonably honest with her that you would like to stay friends and try to meet her to go out gaming. Even if she's not the most attractive girl she could still be a social proof for you.

You know when you talk to a nice looking girl and the ugly girl in that social circle sees it as her job to cockblock? Have your friend to entertain the cockblocking girl so you can game the attractive girl uninterrupted.

Simple Answer: No.
Longer Version: No, there should be some attraction, it's even better if the women you're sleeping with complements your life as more than just a plate.

Update- meeting her tomorrow night for a drink. Thing is....shes just okay looking. My main beef is on her facebook pics she seems to have a big nose.
However as many of these southern sorority girls can do...she makes herself look presentable with makeup and nice hairstyle.
In person...I was more looking at her eyes. And she seems to have a tight little body as she ia a petite soccer player. So...im gonna go with an open mind ..have fun...and see what my dick tells me.
