Brazil is definitely not for me because of my skin, and my Brazilian skills.

I think I will try to find a place in the USA or in Canada. According to another post from this page, there are some cities in these countries where being black is well seen, I should do it well over there with my dark skin and my French accent ...

I keep Brazil and others destinations you told me for my holidays.

Bruh I've never heard of any black dude having a hard time in Brazil. There are places in every corner of the world that do not like black men.

If you have to go to the USA then Minneapolis would be my first bet for you specifically. I would bet some dough that you would kill it there.

Really?

I've heard plenty of black dudes saying they didn't do well in Brazil. Most of the guys even came from this forum. This notion that the average non famous/rich/model looking black american will smash dimes in Brazil without doing p4p is false.

Even with "average" Brazilian chicks the racial hierarchy there is real.

I visited several Brazilian cities and it was rare to see even a local black male with a non-black Brazilian chick that was above a 6, virtually ever brotha I saw was dating down unless he was with a black sista then they would be about even. Same goes for black american brothas that weren't paying for the experience(no judgement implied). This was my impression and has been co-signed by other brothas I have spoke with that have gone there on vacation. If you are living there for a year or working a high level government post and can get in an attractive social circle I admit it could be different.

Hell, there is a whole thread here on RooshV about Brothas experience in Brazil and the consensus is that it ain't a "T.I. or Snoop Dogg" video down there for the brothas. All things being equal a tanned or white brazilian chick will pick a white or mestizo dude over a brotha 9 times out of ten. Not hating, just stating facts. You can still get it in but telling people it won't be hard is a disservice.

What about the light-skinned and darker Brazilian women? Are they off limits for light-skinned American brothas?

When u say light skinned I picture a cat like chris brown. A dude that color won't have problems getting a brazilian rihanna or Beyoncé. A guy thats Usher's color or darker can get it in but will have it harder. In the states you are way more likely to see a black/brown male with a white woman, In brazil the reverse more white/brown male with a black woman.

Anyone who goes should know some Portuguese. Competition is real down there for all women, most dudes are in shape and aggressive with decent style. Being a foreigner helps but its not a huge advantage like maybe 15yrs ago
