Its something you see in isolated communities - its why Indian guys generally date Indian girls in the states. The communities are relatively isolated and tend not to mix, giving an air of racial insecurity when dealing with everyone else. Its why immigrants suck with girls from other races while Americanized Cats do better.

You also see this amongst Russian, Latino and W African immigrants to the US. They stick to their own communities and as a result the guys suck with girls of other races.

Solution: If you think your race is a barrier, go out and meet people.

There's tourists from all over there now. I saw African tourists when I was there. Punjabi tailors are also not rare in Bangkok.

Has anybody noticed an increase in obesity in Indian-American women? I have relatives in North California and I’m horrified when I go to weddings. There needs to be more fat shaming in the Indian community.

Couldn't agree more^^ not just North America . There is alot alsoalso in the European communities.

I love being punjabi. Or i love my genes in a way. Wish i had my dad's blue eyes. I love that nobody can really put a finger on where i come from on a first attempt. Latinos and Arabs think i am part of them. Persians like whys. Even Indian dudes don't think I am Indian haha.

British Indians are a lot thinner than Indian-Americans. I have one really fat female cousin in the UK, whereas in the US I have 10 times more.

You must be pale skinned - I'm medium brown. To me Persians look like light skinned Punjabis. I remember flying to UK one time and I started talking to an old Persian woman next to me on the place. She looked just like my mum. My mum is pale.

All women are susceptible to ballooning after marrying and securing the beta bucks, but it does seem to be a particular problem with Indian women in the states. Not sure why.

There’s no culture of losing baby weight with FOB Indians. I joke with my mum that you can tell how many kids an Indian woman has had by estimating how many pounds overweight she is and then dividing that number by 10 (10lbs of extra baby weight per kid).

I know. Not only is Thailand full of tourists from all over, there is a significant resident Indian community, Which is why when someone says that in Thailand the curiosity level was raised as a result of being a non-white tourist I have to question if that person has ever stepped foot in the country.

I don't think an Indian accent hurts you too much with European girls, considering most of them have accents themselves and probably can't really tell the difference.

In any case getting rid of an accent is doable, something every Indian guy should do.

Also, I think European girls dig brown guys more than North American girls... hot Scandinavian girls are pretty receptive to me. I might be biased as pretty much most of the North American girls I interact with are from Toronto which is pretty shit for everyone. I'll have to to spend more time in the US to figure that out.

Its good to see the multiple brown players on this forum, we're the top 5 percent of Indian dudes who are cool as fuck.

Yes. Most immigrants trade the best if Indian culture for the worst of American culture. They don't care about looks and presentation and don't leave their families.

Every Indian guy I know in the States who's doing well/ is good with girls has confessed that he's scared of becoming like his father, uncles and cousins.

Adding to the problem is this Indian conception that anyone who doesn't wholeheartedly accept the worst of Indian culture is a traitor. So most of these guys absolutely cannot stand their relatives. Who are generally very fat.

I don't see this problem in Europe because the Indians there are much more presentable and sophisticated. Its easy to preserve your Indianness and be cool there. Its pretty hard in America.

Was in HK for a few days couple mos ago.

Typical Anglo Ex-Pat - Some Brits/Aussies really cool...others really obnoxious annoying the local chicks.
Typical HK Cantonese Dude - Beta like a motherfuck not to mention socially awkward.

I will however say the Indian guys I met were smooth as hell. On one hand, they looked evidently Indian but also possessed an ambiguous "international" & fashionable look too. They took great care of & linked themselves strategically to social groups resulting in a favorable outlook with both attractive ex-pat & local women.

I guess most of their relatives came to HK decades ago & opened businesses in a free port. Literate in both English/Hindi while also being fluent in Cantonese (not so much literate...that Chinese character system is hard).

I do hear there are any Indian playboys that kill it in the UK too.

Brosemite I think there are many Indians in the UK who have been there for generations like minorities in America so its no big deal. I have the feeling that race relations Are a lot smoother and normal there compared to America which is just strange to say the least

I'm Punjabi, too. Same thing: People always tell me I look Persian, Arab, Mexican, or even Italian. I even had a Mexican ask me if I was Mexican.

It's not only the Indians in America that getting fatter.

The girls in India themselves are allowing themselves to put on a lot of fucking weight! Guys over here are thirsty enough to allow it.

I'm talking about the normal middle class girls over here that are like 90% of the girls that you can game.

The remaining 10% are the upper middle class , higher class girls who still maintain themselves and look feminine. However, these girls have the most bitchy entitled attitudes you can think of. It's a fucking pain dealing with them.

That's why the normal middle class girls here who maintain themselves are the top catches here. You need to find them before they turn 24 though cause they most likely will get married by then through an arranged marriage or to a guy who they are dating. That's why these girls like to finish up their fun before that age.

This might be off topic, but something I have always wondered. How come indians In the UK seem to do a lot of low level jobs? For example whenever I am in London I see a ton of British Indians (not fobs) working in security at airports, McDonalds, bus drivers, retail jobs (without ownership interest), waiters, etc. In the US it is very rare to see a Indian working at McDonalds, retail stores (they don't own) or TSA. Most Indians in the US seem to be some sort of professional whether it be doctor, IT, engineer, etc.

These often are second- or third-generation Indians whose parents migrated to England long before other Indians did to America.

Give it another decade or two in America, and you'll see the kids of parents (who were these highly-sought professionals you mentioned) taking on these low level jobs.

Lol two of those jobs you mentioned aren't even low paying. Bus drivers and airport customs get paid better than most of the population.

Oh yeah for the last 5 years mate, had a huge fuss over it a few years back on which I wrote an article for ROK. Now its just subtely dropped into conversations now and then.
