Did a search and couldnt find a (recent) thread that matched this question.

Here's my situation, I work for a company that is contracted by another to do food service for them (Sodexo) so I'm in the amaaaazing career </sarcasm> of corporate dining, good hours, okay pay, but an interesting setup. I see the same people over and over, five days a week. You get a rapport going after a while.

Where I'm at now after being turned onto this site is to nail down as many of these cute post-college chicks as I can before I leave the job in June.

My question is how do I separate myself, the gamer, from the job (dirty chef jacket, occasionally making sandwiches, no glamor)? I have the advantage of being (on myside of the counter) the only young guy. Everyone I work with is either female, or over 35.

On both sides of the counter of the young guys I'm definitely one of the better looking ones. I see girls giving me eyes all day long, I've gotten a little bit of chat going with some, but I've got no idea how to go from "guy at lunch" to "lets get drinks some time"

There are atleast three girls that I'm jonesing for bad. They wait till I'm available to make their stuff and we chat while I'm in the process. I even purposefully messed up one girls ticket while we talked, she didnt say anything.

You're leaving in June, this is a no brainer. Absolutely talk to them, just play it a little safer especially if you're in a position of power.

Rock the chef jacket alone in the bar after hours if it's clean too. Money.

You'd think but I tried this gimmick while working CLE a couple years back, never got anything but guys asking me where I work. Granted I was BETA AS HELL back then and the stink of that was probably palpable to any woman in the room.

You know what, fuck it I'll try it tonight. I got no plans and there's a little dive bar not far from me that I go to a lot. I'll report back tomorrow how it went.

Anyone else tried costuming? (granted this wouldn't be a costume per se)

Thats actually one of the best ways to swoop girls.

Chicks dont stand a chance when you wear your white'd out chef jacket with cookie monster blue interior and red buttons with white loafers with black piping

Alright, last night was interesting. In all honesty the getup didnt really do anything. Didn't hurt, didnt help.

It wasnt till I already got a conversation going that it even came up, most just ignored it. The cute bartender seemed more interested then anyone, but I usually dont bother with female bartenders, to hard to read if they want a good tip, or a good tip.

If anything, the excuse of taking the jacket off and wearing just a tight white undershirt did more good. I made a go at a girl and she lost interest, but her chubby friend get grabbing my arms and putting her hand on my chest saying "I like your muscles"

The bar I went to is traditionally pretty lacking in prospects, but I think I hit every worthwhile girl there that night and came up empty. Good practice though.

Chad,

If I were you I would invite all the girls you're interested in to the same bar on the same night. You will have them competing against each other for your attention.

Just tell each one that a few friends are getting together after work and you'd like for her to come along so you can "catch up". I like this phrase a lot because it's harmless on the surface but also gets her thinking.

I'm betting, depending on your ability to ration out your attention strategically, that you'll have each girl trying to make plans with you.

How many of you have actually tried going out in chef whites, because Saturday night wasnt very fruitful. I had tried this in the past and got the same response. Women were indifferent.

Could it possibly be an intimidation thing? Roosh has pointed out many times that most American women cant cook, though the idea of the woman as the cook of the house is still very alive. These women cant cook, then they see me as a guy who clearly can cook and that makes them insecure?

Its possible, the random guy next to me at the bar didnt get that it was a chef jacket

It probably doesnt help that I got the jacket 14 months, and almost 50lbs ago so it fits like shit. Also going out with the hilljacks in the DC burbs probably doesnt help.

I don't think many people would even be that impressed that you're a chef unless you were some michellin starred or celeb chef. And going to a bar with your work clothes on just isn't right, people will think you're too lazy to change or couldn't wait for a drink and proceeded directly to the bar soon as work finished.

Honestly this is how I've usually felt about the whole get up. When I was in CLE I literally was coming home from work after a 15 hour day and new if I went home first I'd just pass out, so I didnt.

I think I'm gonna officially hang up the idea.


Also, back to my initial question about gaming girls while I'm at work. I got some info today from a friend that works at the parent company that easily one of the best looking honies there is just recently single. I also know that her ex was a blue eyed whiteboy, so my people.

My problem is that I've never even spoken to this girl, not even in a professional sense. I'm usually eating lunch when she's around so I've got zero rapport going. Ontop of that she's always assailed with these dorky guys she works with. I figure my best chance to open her is a chance encounter in the hallway when she's not in work mode, I just cant think of a good line to get a conversation going.

You could always shred her tires and wait outside nearby until she comes out. Casually walk by while she's freaking outand ask what happened. Say that sucks. Then keep her company until her car is towed.Then take her out for drinks

Just pretend (believe) you are a celebrity and the outfit works. This is just another angle to peacocking and it's a great conversation starter. Baggy chef coat = fail though

Alright, so I'm working on the girls I mentioned earlier, but now a new bomb has been dropped on my on the clock game.

My boss just hired his cousin to work in the back, with or very close to with me. She's one year off the boat from Spain, and RIDICULOUS cute. Girl next door face with the body of a pornstar. Now every logical part of me is going NOPE because I cant imagine this having a good end game (aside from her fulfilling one of the items on my bang bucket list to bang a girl who knows so little english she'll have to moan in her native tongue)

Is this worth it? My dick screams yes, my brain screams no.

perhaps you could take this guy out for drinks, get him really drunk. Then when you are both pretty buzzed tell him you want to make a go with her. If he gets pissed just say you are just kidding and give him another drink
