It's almost sad how much denial this guy is in. You know all his friends and family said to him "Seriously, that's not your son. It's obvious that she cheated on you with her Mexican ex and got pregnant. Just look at him."

I'm sure he heard this plenty of times and denies it every time but it still has to be eating at him deep down. I wouldn't be surprised if he assaults his girl one day when she pisses him off for something relatively minor.

Nope! Typical Black people are not that red pilled enough to talk like that. It's happened in my family. After the initial disgust lasts for about 5 mins, they typically accept it as a step-father thing and keep it moving. The way they see it, at least he is being a father.

At the end of the day what else can anyone do about it? Nothing. There are plenty of good men in the world that had good step fathers. Some even call those same men Dad and don't see it any different. Obviously it will fuck with his head some when he gets older and realizes he looks nothing like his dad. It might develop trust issues and trigger an identity crisis, if his parents refuse to defuse it quickly and cop to the truth and squash it.

When the race is the same it's possible to get away with lying to the kids like that. When it is mixed, you cannot do that. Lying to the kids will just make the shit worse. You basically have to cop to the truth to them to avoid them developing trust issues.

In private there is almost no way to know if they admit it or not, to each other or to the kid. Publically he does not owe anyone of us an explanation or any admission of guilt. He can select to keep us all out of his business, knowing damn well it's not his.

Denial is an extremely powerful force. My brother had three children with his ex wife. About two months after the third was born, she revealed to him that she never loved him and had fucked a truckload of guys while he worked (he traveled every week). She then tried to tell him that the second child was not his, but the child of some drug dealer she had been banging on the side. She said the other two were his.

He told her she was full of shit, that the kids were his, etc. Now, his first two children were old enough at the time to have defined features, while the third was just a baby, so it was harder to tell. The first two look just like my brother. Compare their pictures to his childhood photos, and the resemblance is obvious. They are his kids. They both have very outgoing personalities, tan skin, and dark colored eyes.

As the third child has gotten older, I have become 100% convinced she is not my brother's child. She has pale skin, light colored eyes, blond hair, and eyesight issues, requiring her to wear glasses (the other two do not). She's also shy and introverted--a complete 180 from the other two. She also looks a lot like one of my brother's ex friends who just so happened to bang his ex wife. This guy has blond hair, pale skin, and wears glasses.

My brother just had his fourth child with his second wife about a year ago. This child has tan skin, dark eyes, and is showing signs of having a very active/outgoing personality. Plus she shares a lot of resemblance with my brother.

I have tried to bring this up with my family. I tried to softball the conversation, even with extended relatives. They shut me down very quickly, so I decided not to press the issue. Simply mentioning it invited vitriol that could have had long term repercussions had I decided to press further. The thing is, they're all in denial. It's so fucking obvious. When I took my girlfriend back home (and mind you, I had not mentioned this to her), she later asked me if the third child had been adopted. We had a discussion and both agreed that the third child was not his. Mutual friends of both my brother and myself have also said this to me in confidence.

It's an extremely delicate issue, especially when the guy has raised the kid as his own for several years. Family members won't bring it up because of the ensuing shit storm that will follow. If he's content raising another man's kid (which my brother has been for 9 years now), then so be it. I'm not going to ruin my relationship with him by trying to convince him the child isn't his.

Looking at Omarion's kid, it's obvious the child isn't is. The kid looks half black/Hispanic, has straight hair, and none of his features. Guys like him and my brother get so caught up in the idea of fatherhood that they lie to themselves to protect their egos. They are fragile men who trust others far more than they should--even cheating sluts who obviously do not love them.

Instead of bursting my brother's bubble, I try to pass on some wisdom to help him grow. He married his first wife young and against everyone's advice. The ensuing cheating/divorce were inevitable and foreseeable, but like I said, guys like him convince themselves that everything is going as it should. It's our job to help wake these men up, and that starts with the truth. However, going full bore isn't always the best option. Sometimes you have to throw it slow before speeding things up.
