I really appreciate having this forum to post such questions, thanks guys. In the book, "Bang", Roosh states that you should never ask to sit down. Just sit, but that situation was a bar or club. Now I just read over his email about coffee shop game and it is suggested to ask her before you sit. So should I never ask to sit in a bar, but ask to sit in a more civilized setting like a bookstore or coffee shop? Any input will be valuable!

Good question but here's the difference...

In bar game you approach while standing up, and then sit down to continue the conversation.

In coffee shop game, you ask to share a table. You sit and THEN you 'approach' by starting a conversation.

But say you're in a coffee shop and there is a packed table of girls you want to talk to, and there is no free chair. You would approach them while standing, then pull the time constraint move and pull a free chair from another table to sit with them.

Make sense?

You have any ideas for a less clunky time constraint than, "Hey, I've got to get back to my friends in a minute, but..."?

Time constraints work really well, but I've found myself having to explain where exactly my friends were after a few minutes of conversation that were initiated with this.

"I can't stay for long. I have to go return some movies" Haven't tested it, but it's a thought. Maybe library book...
