Thought this market segment was crowded, but somebody just released a campus sex hookup app.

I can see this as a "coitus regrettus" lawsuit waiting to happen. Better make sure the company lawyers know what the hell they're doing.

Wait till the SJW's get their hands on this one.

I already see a bunch of excuses, It wasn't me, I blacked out when I approved, I said no right before had sex, I changed my mind, i was raped. etc etc.

NOTHING can stop a woman from screaming rape, even if she was on video, sober, saying I want to fuck this man. She can always claim something afterwards.

Idiotic.

Women won't use it because it ruins the "it just happened" vibe.

Men won't be protected because a woman can always change her mind later and say she stopped wanting it during sex, or that she was tricked into signing on the app.

aaaand cue the TechCrunch article condemning the app.

While they are right about the legal mess the app creates, towards the end, they get uber-beta white knight about it too:

"So, just in case you were in any doubt about it, this is an app for dudes who are asking women — and in all likelihood intoxicated women — to consent to sex. Dudes who, in addition, might be worried that their sexual behavior leaves them open to accusations of sexual assault or rape. Which does rather explain the app’s problematic framing.

An app offering a workflow for sexual consent is already a problematic idea — given how an ill-thought-through structure can easily pile pressure on sensitive discussions. But throw in positive bias towards guys wanting a helping hand to more easily procure consequence-free sex with somewhat drunk women and, well, it’s practically toxic."

Because it never happens where a woman - sober or not - consents and then wakes up regretting the consent, perhaps even to the point of rape allegations.

So if a man doesn't clearly get consent he's a rapist

But if he tries to make a record that consent wss clearly given to protect himself he's a rapist too.
