They got an attractive actress to arrange dates with guys on Tinder then put a fat suit on her to see the reaction.





Normal pranks don't take much time out of someone's day, but this is a step beyond that since the guys blocked part of their day for it. It's ironic considering the SP guys are supposed to help men with game advice, but instead tries to embarrass them for youtube views.

Assuming it's real, one interesting thing is how diplomatic the men were in sugarcoating their distaste.

2:24: "Tinder is not really my thing." Me and you both!

3:52: Girl said, "You're really sweet and nice for staying." But I still won't bang you.

They did a version on girls too, but this one is definitely fake...





3:24: Girl gives him a kiss on the lips. Fake! Her arm at 3:26 is literally resting on soft pillow. Any human being would pause when realizing that someone is coated in fluffy cotton. Pretty sad the Simple Pickup guys are resorting to this.

Even worse, they did the fake video to make women seem more sympathetic than the men. So they waste the time of a handful of men, pass on a fake video as real, AND reveal an agenda that women are nicer/better than men.

I quite enjoyed their early days, and some of their videos gave me inspiration to go out and really just not give a fuck about what other people thought about me. Their attitudes towards meeting women and playing the number game that pickup really is made me start towards the red pill.

Now, it's very easy to differentiate their new material from the stuff from 2-3 years ago, and I think the success has gone to their heads, they're making more and more channels to boost views and get paid (fair enough). But their message is lost in translation, they aren't the guys who would just go say stupid stuff to girls and collect numbers anymore. They aren't helping men anymore, and have become irrelevant.

Sell outs may prosper but they lose the respect of their original audience every single time.

Back when they just started it was all trolling and having fun. It was nice to watch. Three friends having fun and meeting girls. But I knew it simply wouldn't last.

These days, the videos are beginning to suck more as evidenced by the lower views and now they are doing things like this.

These guys are making heaps through their project go subscriptions and other channels but their primary channel has gone downhill at a rapid rate.

I don't want to sound like a hater, because the Simple Pickup guys have built an empire that I never could, but those dudes were never a great source of game advice.

They were fun to watch and would get me motivated, but their advice wasn't good for the everyman.

A dude who's nervous just to talk to a girl at the bar doesn't need to start busting out silly lines or acting like a clown. He'd be better off learning from a guy who's more grounded, like Roosh.

I'm probably in the top 15% of all dudes when it comes to notches and I've never had to do more than basic game. If a girl wants you to be her private entertainer before she'll show you any interest, avoid her. There's going to be nothing but problems in the future, especially when you run out of energy and can no longer do your little song and dance routine.

I'd be really surprised to see how these dudes handle their dates and later interactions since the girls would expect them to maintain that same level of insane energy.

Good game doesn't look like something that's just rolled off some crazy YouTube channel. It's natural and should go down with relative ease.

If you don't believe me go look at the "I just had sex" thread. No one on there has a story about them dressing up like a wizard, or only speaking in Scarface quotes. They have normal interactions with tactical escalation. It might not be flashy but it works.

I think of the point of the videos was that you can do and say ridiculous stuff and STILL have the girl stick around so running "normal guy" game should be no big deal at all. It's a great motivator for shy/new guys that think just going up to a girl in public and striking up a conversation is supposed to be some epic ordeal,.

Was a big fan in the beginning but kinda lost track of them as the years went on - based on the comments I'm reading in this thread I don't think I'll be catching up on their new material.

I've watched a few of their videos in the past. And what exactly is the big deal about collecting numbers? Girls give numbers away easily. Vitaly even collected numbers in one video by not even speaking and merely pointing and gesturing to his phone. All I want to know is how many of those numbers actually converted into lays. That's all that matters.

It was the idea that you could go out and meet women, it really didn't matter what you said to her, it was your confidence exuded that truly meant something. In all fairness, when they started the channel, phone numbers actually were worth something. Don't you remember the glorious days before 3G when bars were actually about interacting and not attention seeking? I was lucky enough to get about a year of that before the iPhone 4 took over and the days of phone number significance dwindled down to nothing.

Girls were still using blackberrys back then!

Yea, I'd have to see unedited videos, second one in particular seems fake.

But for arguments sake, let's say they are both legit and fairly edited.

The guys in the fat girl video seem to be all fit guys in their late 20s, early 30s. Their prime.

The girls in the fat guy video seem to be late 20s, early 30s. Their body language, voice all suggest they've just hit the wall. Some of them have flabby arms, short hair, dress old. In other words, not exactly the pick of the litter.

Either way, does this mean guys are more shallow on looks? Again, for arguments sake let's say this shows it is true, that fat women have a zero percent chance with a fit guy whereas a fat guy has a five percent chance with a semi-fit girl.

I say so fucking what. As I've said that is literally the one thing that is asked of a woman, which is to be in shape and present yourself well. There is absolutely no way any of those women will let a fat guy fuck them unless he has money. One doesn't need a video camera to prove this, one can just open their eyes and simply observe human behavior to know this is true.

Again, all a woman has to do is not be fat and annoying, and she is in the game. A guy has to be in shape, have money, have the right car, right apartment/house, live in the right area, their career going in the right direction, solid social status, plan dates, etcetera etcetera.

So yes, I think we have the right to be five percent more demanding when it comes to simple physical presentation.

I know this pisses women off because they want to be judged on their sarcasm and masters degrees in women's studies. But fuck that, women can decide what women find attractive, and we'll let men decide what men find attractive.

I agree with the sentiment shame on them for wasting peoples time. It's one thing to run a prank on the street where you maybe take up 30 seconds of someones time, its another thing to make someone set time out of their schedule or day off work just to prank them.

As for the guys reactions, I thought they were pretty good. I know some people mentioned overly nice, I was glad to see the guys though rather delicate at least called the girl out on deceiving them, expressed some disaproval in the bait and switch and what they showed up to.

I too would be frustrated but I don't think anyone should jump off the handle and be like you fat cow you wated my time, even if that's what you are feeling in your head. Once you do that you turn her into the victim and the sympathetic one and she walks away saying that guy was so shallow, that guy was mean, I'm the victim. I think by being polite but expressing your disaproval with her in a polite way as well as with the lie you leave her feeling bad about it. Kinda like how when your parents are disapointed its worse than when they tear your head off kinda thing.

I think a great way to not allow the situation to be flipped into one of well you wouldn't have contacted me if I posted a real pic...first off damn right but secondly I would put it to the women like this. If I said I was single and it turned out I was married you wouldn't be happy you were misled, you showed up under a false pretense, etc. This scenario is no different, its not an issue of being shallow its an issue of you deceived and lied, on top of being annoyed who wants to continue any type of relationship with someone who your first interaction with was one of lies and deceit.

"It's very upsetting," another said. "I'm a little upset. I wasted gas and my time to come over here, and I can't do this."

Of the five matches, only one stayed the entire time -- although, at one point he did ask her: "Do you like to eat?"

A man doesn't have to be attracted to a woman to respect her, yet that's exactly what unfolds in the video. Just because a woman is fat doesn't mean she isn't sexy -- and encountering a fat woman rather than a thin one does not relieve anyone from practicing human decency.

Simple Pickup conducted the same exact experiment with the roles reversed, using a male participant and female Tinder matches, and the results were shockingly different.

When the Tinder matches met the man who was made up to appear heavier in person, they were not nearly as blunt as their male counterparts. Although each one acknowledged he looked different from his photos, most were nice. Three were willing to continue the date or go out with him again, and one gave him a kiss.
