OK, so I own this coat:



Purchased a few years ago back in my pre-redpill and before I really was fashion-aware. Just thought it looked cooler than a trenchcoat.

It was pretty expensive so I'm hoping there's a nice look I can make work with it. Since it's a duster I was thinking jeans and boots with a cowboy-style shirt. Hopefully an easy way to attract the country girls ?

Could you perhaps get it tailored to make it slightly less long to maybe around the length of the last button? That with some slim dark blue jeans and brown boots if you're a slim guy.

Those coats were definitely beta/omega when I was in high school. Just add a big hat and you're good to go...

I could see it being pulled off if you were actually on horseback.

I'm 6' 1" so it doesn't drape down like on shorty there. Comes up about knee-level like those first two pictures. While we're on the subject of boots, the only ones I own are workboots. What is a nice comfortable pair of CW boots? Last ones I had fucking hurt my feet.

OK. If you need this coat to work your job at the ranch or it's normal to see them at the local 7-11 because you live in that kind of element in Texas or OK and are chasing "country" type tang I will understand that coat. If not then we have a problem here.

This duster does a good job if you are working on a ranch and it rains or snows.

The chode fella has his contrast and color coordination good with the outfit.

However, he is a a total fucking disaster with his choice of shoes, length of pants, length of sleeves and type of shirt.

Keep the jacket if you plan to have boots, a cowboy hat and work in a similar environment as the first two photos.

Seriously consider getting an overcoat and suit or blazer/sports jacket for gaming.

Contrast will help and you are likely the right size for an easy fit which is very important.

You don't need a tie, but the above commentators are right that it would be a ridiculous choice for your purpose.

Even country girls will see the duster as plebeian compared to a thrift store ensemble.

Go to dappered dot com or Antonio Centeno's site to get idea about the basics of menswear and their function so that you have the fundamentals to tweak toward creating your own personal style.

Permanent style, unlike fashion, has pretty much stayed the same for men for years.

Unless you're herding cattle at a station in country Australia, lose the coat.

If you're wearing it within a 10km of a a major city centre.....



City and country wear developed independently for a reason. Please keep that in mind.
