Next time she starts mouthing off, ask her outright if she's single, saying you have a single friend who has 'so much in common with her' that 'you two would get along real well.'

During the conversation, you casually let it drop that she's a lesbian - in a non-judgemental way that makes it seem like you're pro-gay. Say something like "She keeps bragging to me how she eats pussy better than any man ever could, so you'd be in for a wild ride."

When she says that she's not a lesbian - all straight girls, even liberals, are homophobic when it suits them - that's when you need to look really confused, and apologetic: "What? I just assumed from your interests and your voice." Look genuinely confused. Say a good natured "Sorry, guess I'm a lousy matchmaker," then vacate the area as soon as possible, in a casual "I've got to get on with my day" kind of way, not a 'running-away-from-conflict' way.

This way you play into her script of being a 'dumb man' that she gets to feel intellectually-superior to - thus not feeling attacked, which subtly-validates your misunderstanding in her mind. The hamster will start obsessing over the fact that she's coming off as a dyke to attractive men.



If she is a lesbian, go about your life and treat her like the invisible woman she is.
