I agree! Just remember if you do delete text messages your service provider still has them but it is a pain in the ass to wait for them while shit is up in the air. My advice is to save all text messages and make sure you lock your phone so girls cannot go through it.

I read the entire complaint and found it fascinating. I'm not a lawyer, but it was a very convincing argument.

My summary of the complaint follows. When Emma filed her complaint with the university, and after Paul was found not guilty, they were both subject to non-disclosure and confidentiality clauses that the university was supposed to enforce. Paul's lawyers allege that the university did not uphold or enforce these clauses, and in fact condoned and sponsored Emma's smear campaign against Paul. Examples include: giving Emma university credit for her "carry the weight" project, one of her professor's advising and supporting her on the project, allowing university publications to publish Paul's name and personal details, supporting rallies on Emma's behalf in the form of cleanup costs etc, advertising these events on university owned webpages, etc.

The complaint shows university policies that were given to Paul that prohibit harassment, violations of privacy and state that disciplinary processes will provide confidentiality to both parties. The complaint shows how the university violated it's own policies.

The complaint details the entire process from the first interactions between Paul and Emma, to the complaint of sexual assault, the subsequent public campaigns by Emma, the complaints of the two other accusers, the coverage by the campus media, the events and declarations made at rallies on Emma's behalf, written requests by Paul and his family calling for the university to provide confidentiality, etc.
