No way to tell. There are some stupid people on the internet, who say a lot of stupid things. I've gotten internet death threats, before. Of course, I've never took them seriously enough to move away from my house.

She does have a lot of incentive to lie, though.

It is my opinion that this is a publicity stunt.

1 perfect punctuation and spelling in all messages
2 quickly switching between attack and flattery within the same moment. The deranged do not toggle so quickly. If the tweets had been minutes/hours apart, then maybe.
3 no derogatory statements (You bitch, you slut...)

5 according to the article by Arturo Garcia, she presumably tweeted “Some very scary threats have just been made against me and my family... Contacting authorities now.”
It is the "now" part that I am dubious of.
Wouldn't it have been "I JUST CONTACTED authorities?" Was she tweeting while the police were on hold.
6 no comments about her just released video nor her ongoing controversies. Too serendipious a coincidence to get this much publicity of all days.
7 the threat leaves no mystery. He discloses that he knows her address. But never suggests that he has more information. When you want to scare someone, you need to leave some mystery.

She has her hand in this. She will fucking fund raise a few $100,000 to buy a new safer house or some shenanigans and people will throw money at her left and right. I don't recall the details but I think she fund raised over like $70,000 or more to review video games and their misogynist ways.

It might be worth putting together a compilation of her income stream(s) and sending all of it to the IRS. Chances are she files her taxes correctly but since she has so many "non conventional" income streams happening it's worth a shot. A full blown audit would turn up some skeletons I bet.

Unfortunately she can't be prosecuted for running a scam because she's still delivering a product no matter how shitty it is. However, tax evasion is another thing...

People who send me death threats usually amount to more than a few rabid trolls on the internet. IMO seeing a random "I'll kill you" on twitter than seeing detailed blog posts about why you should be imprisoned, tortured and killed, complete with detailed reasoning and graphic descriptions.
