Girl cuts her hair short, likely knocking herself down a point or so. Her girlfriends blow smoke up her ass about it, but on some level she perceives a reduction in the male gaze. She may not admit it, even to herself, but she begins to think the pixie cut was a mistake. Is this where we appear and say it looks good? Normally praising a fault would be obviously disingenuous and rude, but this is complimenting the emperor's new clothes.

Seeing as some men (me) genuinely think some women look sexy with short haircuts, I think it could work as an outright neg. I also seriously doubt many of them would be smart enough to pick up on a sarcastic "it makes you look so strong and empowered" without you really laying it on thick.

I do think short hair is pretty disgusting, it makes them look more like a man. I could understand if a woman is a lesbian and wants to appear more manly, in which case I have no interest. All it is doing is making her look less attractive and she is not helping herself at all.

Hair is one of my favorite features in a women. Nice long hair epitomizes femininity. I ignore girls with short hair, just like fat chicks. I don't see a reason to make a comment.

Why on earth would you want to complement a woman for making a horrible decision that makes her look like a frail homosexual adolescent?

Don't be shy. Call her out for it.

Tell her she looks like SHIIIT.

You might lose out on the bang but it's still a +1 for your dignity and she will think twice before cutting her hair next time.

"Why did you cut your hair?"
"You looked better with long hair."
"Long hair shows youth and femininity and 99% of men prefer long hair - also only 1% of women (or less) actually look better with short hair."

Also most women know that they feel worse - they just need constant "encouragement" similar to a guy who was talked into buying a crappy car.

I think short hair actually looks better on a select few women. I find that if their face is round that it can look better than long hair.

OK real talk: I don't say shit unless the girl has some value to me in that 1) I'm trying to get in her good graces (business, friendship) then I compliment her, or 2) if I'm trying to fuck her (and some short haired girls are sexy as fuck) than I will pay them a real compliment about their short hair and it always lights their eyes. Reason being is that short hair is risque and the girl really does feel it fits her personality. They love this because it's a mini-cold-read essentially. Then I'll maybe throw in a compliment about how "I always hear from girls with short hair that short hair is SO much easier than when their hair was longer" and this keeps them talking for days hah.

its blowing my mind that some of you dudes like short hair on women. No fucking way for me, NEVER have a seen a woman with short hair that I wouldn't have preferred with long hair.
