Corpus, who lives in Houston and describes herself on Twitter as a go-go dancer and fitness junkie, decided to share a screenshot of some DMs Parsons sent her.

Parsons sent Corpus a few direct messages including his phone number and told her to text him. That was at the end of June. A week later he apparently followed up to indicate he was still waiting to hear from her.

Chick tries to big her up herself for getting hit on by an NBA player, and everyone turns around and calls her an attention whore.

Bad look for Parsons, he should be going after VS models, not a broke go-go dancer/faux fitness model.

There was one interview that said NBA players routinely pawn off their "sexting" duties on their assistants. "See how dirty you can get her" and then just meet them at the hotel room.

At least he didn't keep on dm'ing her.
Also kudos to him for not texting her again the same day he waited a few days before he dm'ed her again.
He could've used a seguway to get her number. Anything really.

Any of those could've worked for him and if she didn't reply to him he wouldn't look as thirsty as he does now.

I think the James Franco situation is the watermark for celebrity male thirst.

Women like to judge men on what they do for a living and how much they make, but we're supposed to bow before them if they make above minimum wage.

I know a woman like this. She's 32 and get's less attractive each time I see her. She was a solid 9 at 25 y/o, but she's one of those blondes who gets too much sun. Twitter is one of the worst things ever created. It's literally by design a platform for vapid attention whoring. 140 character limits and everyone judges you by how many "followers" you have. Then there's the echo chamber effect, the social media bandwagon effect, the "lazy journalist" effect (where journalists' idea of investigative reporting is to just write stories based off Tweets they read), the emergence of "hashtag activism" and the shameless nature of the self-promotion it encourages ("Follow me!").

Then you have situations like this, where high status guys get burned by low status whores for using bad game. It's just so stupid. I long for the days when there was actually privacy in the world. With Twitter there is no privacy at all. And I really think that's contributing a lot to making people anxious and unhinged these days. People just can't fucking relax, they feel like their every move is under scrutiny.

We're all so focused on the NSA, but every other motherfucker on the street is running around with a smartphone and a Twitter account. That's the real surveillance state right there.

I agree with him being lame. A duck is a duck when dudes have shirty game they ain't getting their dick wet that much. Plus folks over estimate his "fame" status since 90% of women don't know whom the fuck this guy is. Only his nice car and his height would be he dead give away he's a pro athlete. He isn't a superstar like Lebron that even regular women would notice.

If he has tons of willing chicks waiting why he wasting time on Twitter trying to swoop? I understand as a public figure he has to maintain a public social media presence but that's minimal work if your organized with your time, or you can pay somebody to do it.

A top level athlete doesn't have time to hone in on understanding biomechanics - particularly those in the high profile sports.

That said, professional sports organizations and agents should be putting these guys through boot camps on how to only use network technology to promote their brand.

I think the a bigger problem than Twitter is the fact a low status whore think she deserves to be valued as a person, despite awkwardly juggling her tits into frame and photoshopping all her facial and chest blemishes into a high-contrast haze to present herself as a sex object.

It's hypocrisy. They take 20 pictures until they select the one that artificially-inflates their sex appeal, then, when it creates a sexual reaction in men, they dare to become offended by this.

I don't get it. People are ripping on the NBA player for his weak game? He complimented her but she wasn't sure if it was a compliment. He sent phone number for logistics, then he threw a hail mary when she didn't contact him.

Then he moved on to the next girl and next girl and next girl. Current girl happens to be Kendall Jenner. Seems like he's doing well for himself even if his game isn't up to his basketball skill level.
