The cognitive dissonance of feminism, as seen by a childless, middle-aged ex-feminist
I stumbled upon this interesting opinion piece on, of all places, a precious metals investing site in which a childless, post-wall, ex-feminist activist calls out the feminist movement for advocating life choices that contradict the drives that form the very essence of the female nature- to bear children and to nurture a loving family. There's still a bit of hamster at work in parts, but it's nonethless always interesting to hear this perspective voiced by one of those feminism was meant to benefit.

How Fake Feminism Has Turned Women Into Sheeple

TL;DR: Aging, disillusioned, childless recovering feminist argues that the sexual freedom and emancipation from traditional family life championed by the feminist movement has resulted in a broken generation of young women characterized by increasing violence, degeneracy and mental illness-the result of their trying in vain to find synthesis between a lifestyle of "empowerment" and sexual freedom, and the powerful instinct to nurture family/community that continues to operate within.

The money quote: "When we women go against our basic natures, we become warped and diseased in our souls"

RE: The cognitive dissonance of feminism, as seen by a childless, middle-aged ex-feminist
"We've been sold a Big Lie - that we can act like men and sleep around and somehow that will make us "empowered" and "happy." But in order to do that, we must look our best. That means hair, make-up, and shoes, and later on, Botox, plastic surgery, liposuction, and desperate attempts to look twenty years younger.

But who, in the end, gets their feet put into stirrups and has a harried doctor suck the literal life out of them?

It's the woman. She goes home, empty, and the guy who used her for sex moves on to the next girl.

This is why women are angry. And we don't even know it.

And it's why we have failed miserably and are enablers of the destruction of freedom."

Quote:I will now put on my conspiracy hat here. I have come to believe this is what the elites want. It's "Brave New World" they are shooting for. They want the masses to be distracted by sex and drugs and dumbed down. I also think Big Pharma must have their tentacles in the big feminist organizations - pushing synthetic hormones and birth control. It's big business to them. (It's apparently also big business to the abortion industry.)

You've got that right missy. They also wanted you in the workforce to put pressure on men's wages and tax the other half of the population which actually had the luxury of not working in the 1950s.

Quote:Yet, look at what the "women's movement" has become: It's entire focus in the West is on so-called "reproductive rights," or more euphemistically "women's health." The sole purpose of feminism today is to allow promiscuous sex without consequence.

And if you actually demand that a female high school student wear modest clothing, you are told you are "disempowering" her and "slut-shaming" her.

It's insane. Absolutely insane.

What's next? Stripper poles in the high school gym, because it's a "great workout"?

Yeah - Stripper Pole workouts coming to your Charter School Smile

Also the women screaming for "equality" did not foresee the real psychological dark-triad-loving, hypergamous mentality that women have as their basic programming. Unchaining the beast and not expect all-around destruction of the family was just naive. Traditional marriage and courting was highly restrictive for the female for a good reason.

Ah well - at least more and more women realize what is happening.
Women are only partly responsible for falling prey to the manipulation, that sounds oh-so-good, but has absolutely terrible results.

Yeah we can see with our own eyes what is the end result of this. As much as they try to paint it as being "progressive", we all know really that it is fucked up. Children being raised by women who are feminists or take on the beliefs, are really going to suffer, it will take them years to undo the propaganda that they have been force fed.

Women are starting to wake up to it, because it is negatively effecting them.

You are making it hard for that woman to love. And women are designed to love. Not be sex objects, but to love and nurture."

Act like women who deserves to be treated well and we will treat you well. OP is correct...plenty of hamstering.

She's half right. What she doesn't see is that this is a one-way street.

Feminists do promote promiscuity for women. But they promote sex as being "criminal" for men. They're expanding the definitions of rape and harassment to make more and more of men's sexuality illegal or immoral. These days, everything from songs ("Blurred Lines") to sex dolls to prostitution to catcalling is being redefined as "violence against women."

Then there's the imaginary sex trafficking numbers and the removal of due process on some college campuses for allegations of sex crimes. Hell, even sitting "wrong" on the subway is now a form of sexism.

The elites, which she mentions, also control the for-profit prison system and legal system. They indirectly control the media and colleges this is why those institutions promote the "men's sexuality must be criminalized!" mentality of feminism: jailing men over petty bullshit or getting them caught up in legal quicksand means more money for them.

For every "you go, girl!" article about Slut Walks or how high school girls should be empowered by dressing or acting like tramps, there are articles laying out "rules" for how men need to reign in their behavior so as no to offend these delicate creatures. Talk about cognitive dissonance.

I submitted the above comment on that site. Let's see if it makes the cut. It concluded with this:

"The goal of feminism is to remove all constraints on female sexuality while maximally restricting male sexuality." -- Roissy/Heartiste

True, also how is a young man going to react to women going around having sex with whoever. He is not going to be turn into a good guy who will be chivalrous and wait for her hand in marriage. No he will realise that there is a game being played, and being loyally will just result in him getting screwed over in a cuckold.

Of course its never truly only their fault we're to blame as well!Dodgy

News flash women are the ones who decide when they want to have a family. And I agree with you WSE I'm making my self into high value desirable man and thus I deserve the "rewards" that come with that, women should do the same if they want good men, such as myself.

That was almost certainly not written by a woman. It's also not very original, content wise. It almost reads like an expansion of a post I made six months ago: /thread-32392-...#pid635840

scorpion Wrote:Birth control and abortion go a long way toward explaining the psychosis of modern Western women. They rob women of the natural role they were born into: mother and giver of life. Literally their entire reason for existing goes out the window with birth control and abortion freely available. There's just no way that heavily partaking in either can be anything except absolutely psychologically and emotionally devastating to women, because doing so runs counter to their biology. It's basically a form of self-annihilation. It's anti-life. It's completely unnatural, and women feel that deep down. And it makes them fucking crazy.

The analogue of BC/abortion for men would be advanced sex robots/VR porn and a trust fund or guaranteed income of some type. Imagine the damage that a man would incur to his psyche if he was able to fuck 9s and 10s on demand with no effort (as far his brain was concerned, anyway) and never had to worry about earning an income. He would be robbed of his entire raison d'etre , his purpose for existing. He would just sort of be there, taking up space, killing time, accomplishing nothing. He has no challenge, no way to prove himself as a man. He is nothing. He is slowly going insane.

Women, whose highest purpose in life is motherhood, will slowly go insane likewise when birth control and abortion block them from fulfilling their natural role. And even women who do become mothers are still poisoned by the atmosphere of birth control and abortion, because they have reduced motherhood to being a sort of afterthought, and children to being accessories of convenience rather than the defining purpose of a woman's life.

I'm not mad, though. I think it's a good thing. I'm glad that people are lurking here, absorbing our ideas and then spreading them out beyond the manosphere. That's how you know we're having an impact. The idea is more important than the man who speaks it.

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” - Romans 8:18

Right, and promoting traditional marriage in a way was restrictive for men too because it made us grow up.

But it was a tradeoff we were willing to make, so long as our partner was worthy, since while our instinct is to 'spread our seed' to many women, it is also in our instinct to propagate our species.

Agreed, and they do this reframing of male behavior in a simplistic, negative way. It's akin to an extremely negative political campaign. You oppose our foreign policy? You hate America! You oppose welfare? You hate children!

It's also an insidious attempt to change the definition of what is attractive. Feminists want men to only be attracted to them, and it has to be men of their choosing.

Having a short haircut is 'empowering'.
Being fat/dumpy is 'beautiful'.
Poor minorities who look at them on the streets are 'harassing' them.

Anyway, I know a plethora of these women (approaching 40, mid 30s) and it’s only going to get worse. Thing is, all the women I know were attractive enough to land a quality guy, but they were one or both of the following 1) Too career focused 2) Got fucked by too many dudes.

Just like it is natural for a woman to be attracted to a guy who can provide security (is in good shape) and resources (money), men desire a woman who has a feminine, nurturing quality and is healthy and fertile. Both in order to propagate our species. We accept this, hence why we encourage each other to get in shape, challenge ourselves and work on our careers. Feminists have pushed the notion that they can have it all, look however they want, behave however they want, and we have to accept it or else we will be demonized. But just like a doughy, lazy wuss will not beat a fit, assertive male, a dumpy woman who is past her prime with a shitty attitude and blown out vagina will never win against a pretty, feminine young woman.

And they can complain all they want, but mother nature is undefeated, and so is father time.

It's very simple. Feminism is a movement whose true goal is and always has been, to destroy as many men (and non-feminist women) as possible.

Jail? Financial ruin? Men herded into concentration camps or wearing tracking bracelets? A police state, which men assumed to be criminals?

Yes, yes, and yes.

When are people going to wake up and smell the coffee here? This isn't just a bit of cultural shift. This is civil war, being fought in a slow, sneaky way by people who are the dregs of society, true haters and psychopaths.

These are the kinds of people who brought you Stalin's purges and China's "cultural revolution" and North Korea's prison nation. Same mindset. Same goals. Just different tactics, in this case, subverting the legal and political system, slowly working towards a police state.

People laugh when they hear this kind of talk. Then another year passes with even more restrictive laws and even more young men wandering the streets with no jobs. I just wonder what it will take for our society to wake up to all this. Another decade? A century? Maybe.
