Upon entering the home, Gallman’s daughter “turned on the TV and there was porn on.” Gallman told investigators that “they immediately turned off the TV” and took the child out of the room.

While watching porn remains legal, Gallman explained that she called 911 because her son “has been having behaviors issues.” Gallman (seen above) added that she wanted to file a report to document her “son’s behavior and due to her daughter being exposed to porn.”

The report does not indicate what the teen was doing in his room.

Traditionally the family has been the smallest level of government, with the father being the king of his castle.

As that breaks down, it only makes logical sense that parents at their wits ends will call the real authority figures for household things like this.

In our current times this is not only stupid but outright dangerous behavior.

I remember my mother saying I had "mental problems" "behavior problems" because.....I was acting out my male teenage hormones by hanging out with girls, having some of them at my house, staying out after dark, and not conforming to her "religious views".

I'm actually curious about this: does the city pay for each instance of use of emergency services? I always figured maintaining a police force or fire department is a fixed cost. You have to pay for facilities and personnel whether you use them or not, with the caveat that heavier usage of equipment leads to more money spent of replacements etc but this would be a minor cost differential.

In one way or another, there is always a cost associated with sending the police or ambulance to someone's house. Remember 911 often involves fire engines or ambulances showing up. And ambulances have perishable medical supplies, serums, injections, etc., etc. You have to pay salaries, fuel, and often overtime. I don't know the precise breakdown but there is a cost.

I have heard many times that when people are rescued in the mountains from situations that they themselves frivolously created, the state makes these people pay for their own rescue (helicopter fuel, supplies, etc.)

The point is that people don't appreciate that 911 is supposed to be for critical emergencies, not for a single mother's comfort blanket.

American cop here....we frequently do. We're commonly called in to yell at someone's kids and perform basic fatherly functions because there is no father in the house.

She shot herself in foot though, because she now has Child Protective Services involved, and they're going to be a nightmare for her for years. Unless it's a scam to put blame and dad and prevent him form getting custody.

Still, this is like deliberately infesting your building with cockroaches to get rid of a bad tenant. You may never get rid of the cockroaches.

Great for you to chime in as you are directly on the front-lines of the disintegration of American society. In a scene like this one of you guys would be in danger of being accused of child-abuse nowadays - what a difference a couple decades of constant propaganda can make:
