RE: Scandinavia - "it depends"
More I am getting from this thread is that if you are an older guy 35+ that Scandanavia could become worse real quick overtime due to:

- Day game low ROI
- Tight knit social circles
- Again expense if you are looking to retire off passive income

Young Anglosphere citizen + $ + Not Dark Brown (Arab / South Asian) = Win

So it seems.

Actually arabs are not really percived as bad. Just dont be weird arab and you are golden. Stockholm has alot of them and their rep is both bad and good. Its the somalis that has the bad rep around here though. brown dudes are also so-so but like so many other places they tend to stick to their own.

I know that may be difficult to respond, but how are white South American guys generally perceived in Scandinavia?

During my past travels in Europe I had no interactions with Scandinavian girls whatsoever, but my looks didn't do too well with German girls - I have the feeling they are more into the darker types, as opposed to EE girls.

Told unvalid remark, the only truth to what you are saying is it is expensive.
Take a visit and draw conclusions from your results.
I have more than a few guys pm me about the the place, they loved it but found it challenging.

^ How could you tell the first one was Swedish (I can't recall if she spoke native language or not). As for second girl, objectively she isn't particularly attractive...but she does something for me. Maybe I'm like the Muslims she talks about and it's just the hair!

One more thing about Scandi....I was thinking about that Jante Law thing, when it occurred to me that quite a few Premier League footballers have been from there. Also, there's a well known boxer from Denmark called Mikkel Kesser. Anyway, I was thinking if Jante Law is so anti-competitive (and you guys have said to avoid Scandi if you have big ambition) and so on, how are there sportsmen who excel in their fields?

Surely jante law would crush their ambitions of being the best?

Has anyone seen this? It seems pretty funny similar to my experiences in Finland the whole "why are you smiling all the time" and everyone speaking English but trying to teach you some of their own phrases even horny girls trying to get you to stay in their country because either they aren't attracted to their own men or their own men don't approach. The female protagonist as HOT as she is has never had a boyfriend longer than a week but falls in love with this nerdy American guy and gets him a visa? They don't get married but since they are living together she gets him a visa that way, to me this is crazy? I know in Finland I met couples living together for years with children and never married. Don't mean to hijack this thread but all the extras under 40 are smoking hot nothing under a 7 even the quirky bitch of a friend is hot I think.

Funny shit I just watch a few episodes of that show today. They hit on some funny stereotypes but overall it's a load of shit.

- Swedes are low game but not as bad as the idiots they troll around on that show
- Everyone's English is pretty much flawless the whole tryhard funny bits with the missed translations are bullshit
- Women are hot but yeah it's a TV show, shit network show at that so it's exaggerated, if TV were true then there'd be no fat chicks in the US and every dumbass with a pizza route would have a 2 bedroom in NYC
- etc, etc

@PartyGod

What would you recommend those areas as a good place to stay for a month or two, working online, spening the rest of my time drinking smoking and trying to bang chicks? I googled bars, clubs and got a neighborhhod called Istedgade.

I'll be interested to hear what PartyGod has to say, but if you're a smoker, you could consider the Christianshavn area, which means you will have Christiania right in your back yard. Christiania as you might know used to be a free zone for selling weed. Not so in the same degree now as I understand, as police has been busting it up regularly for a couple of years, but still possible to buy there easily and you can sit by the water and light up. Istedgade is a very popular area to live, but also the main dope street, so there will be shady people around, dope dealers, druggies, street walkers and I wouldn't recommend buying anything there. It is very central of course to the nightlife both in the inner city and Vesterbro, which would make bouncing from a Vesterbro bar to your place very easy. Christianshavn though is only one metro stop away from the inner city though.

@ElHefe we already chatted PM so I assume this Q no longer applies but incase anyone else is wondering. I would stay away from Christianshavn if you're into the bar/club nightlife scene. Yes you have Christania in your backyard but it's also pretty quiet/dead nightlife and I'd rather stumble home from the bar than be a short walk to weed. In terms of Christania itself I don't know how it was a few years ago (heard it was better) but it's pretty much everything I could ask for today. Open air market, relatively fixed/stable prices, you won't get ripped off, decent quality (for reference I grew up in Nor Cal so I know my bud), amazing place to hang out with free concerts on Sundays (summer), great food, beautiful lakes to chill @ while smoking, etc. Whenever I have friends come visit Christania is our first stop and every single one has the same starry eyed reaction which breaks down to something like "this can't be fucking real".

As to where I would stay I personally prefer Vestebro, been staying there for the past 6ish months and I love it. You've got kodbyen (old meatpacking district) and lots of other great bars/clubs all over the place. It's kinda hipster so you've got to be ready for that but otherwise solid. Inner city is good as well but I've found a missmatch in price/value ratio relative to Vestebro.

RE: Scandinavia - "it depends"
I've been living in CPH on and off for a little more than three years (American working abroad in DK). I can pretty much confirm the above. I've had a little more success in the city-center, but these places can be super hit or miss. Also, if you're worried about CPH prices, try to go out on Thursday as everything's pretty much half price. Thursday's also when the city-center (e.g. Zefside) becomes a little more fun; I find some of the city-center places ridiculously crowded on weekends.

I can't stress enough how easy tinder is here. But be ready, there are tons of danish girls looking for relationships (obviously, this depends on their age) and they won't be afraid to tell you that. Yet in my experience, they usually don't bring it up after a couple of dates. So if you're just looking for the bang, it shouldn't be a problem.

I've had a little different experience with day-game here than that described above. For the most part, in my experience, Danish girls seem to love it. One girl told me that she felt like a princess after i asked for her number on the metro. I think that they like it as almost no danish guys talk to danish girls during the day. The trouble with day game here, however, is that in the most typical day-game type situations (e.g. grocery store, etc) no one is talking to anybody; so you really feel like you're standing out. Not a big deal, but it's a little different than back in the states.
