Here is an easy way to tell. If you are masturbating on a regular basis, like more than 2-3 times per week then there is nothing wrong with your sex drive. You may just not be motivated by the women around you or think that getting sex is just too much work.

If on the other hand you are not masturbating that much or at all and still don't feel the need to go out and get sex from girls then you do have a low sex drive in comparison to the average guy but this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Having a low sex drive can allow you to concentrate on other things like a business. Also there are lots of women out there with a low sex drive that will be happy to be with a man that also has a low sex drive. Somehow in America this is viewed as a negative thing but it is just like your height. Whatever it is, it's fine. Why would you want to increase your sex drive? Just to say you have banged more girls? To be more motivated to go out and get girls? You can just as easily be motivated by wanting to have a good relationship with a cool girl. The point is, don't beat yourself up about your sex drive.

Now, if you do have a healthy sex drive and do want women in your life. Then cutting back on the masturbation will help to motivate you to get out there and get some women.

I concur, cutting out fapping helps my sex drive, especially if I'm going more than a round with a girl in one night

The gym and cardio help with my sex drive as well. One thing I noticed is that since my no fap rule, I'm more motivated to go after girls.

There were times when I was young and I had no sex drive, or just fapped and didn't go out.

Was under the impression higher the sex drive, the higher the drive is everyday life. N Hill talks about this in his Think Rich Grow Rich book. Perhaps I misunderstood.

If you can channel your sex drive into other areas of your life it can be but if you can't then if will only serve as a distraction. Personally, I have never been able to channel my sex drive into other areas of my life so it has only serves as a distraction to getting business related stuff done. The best thing is to be having regular sex with real women. It does something for you that is unexplainable.

Sometimes, I wish mine was lower so I could have a clearer focus on other endeavors. Mine has remained very high since my teenage years.

And a lot of us have what I call a variable sex drive. We walk around thinking we have a low sex drive and then we see or meet a certain type of woman and boom! our sex drive suddenly goes through the roof. For many of us, including me, our sex drive is triggered by certain types of women. When we are with these types of women we have no problems with our sex drive. With women who don't fit these types we have a low sex drive.

Mine is super low, but if i don't masturbate for a week or more, it goes crazy high for a week or two then dips back down.

I've noticed that when I'm sober I don't have a very high sex drive, but after just one glass of wine it goes through the roof? I don't like this because I wish my sex drive were higher without alcohol. Anyone else like this?

I feel like that too especially when i am going out on the weekends.
Nomad77 does have a point above that I agree regarding when you see a girl of your type. I get that tingle nervous feeling that I want to have sex with her.

Regarding the original question I think I do, but I've also noticed libido is variable and affected by my environment. I don't look at porn, or really watch TV, movies, etc., so unless I happen to see and interact with attractive women in actual real life, as far as my brain is concerned, perhaps it's as if they don't exist, and that part shuts down a bit.

Also I don't believe the "heavy lifting" thing really works for me. I would say medium weights are more stimulative in that regard. After a very heavy lifting session has been accomplished what I feel is more relaxed, peaceful, and chilled out. Not "fired up".

I don't think that is necessarily so. If you do it that often it becomes a habit, or even an addiction and you do it just out of being bored and what not. I often found myself fapping without having the real urge.

I go without sex drive for weeks but when I see that girl, this urge rises in me in seconds and I want to fuck the girl in the middle of the street at all costs.

Masturbation can be just as addictive as any hard drug and the results can be just as negative. Any kind of addiction always have a negative impact on your life including addiction to any woman or women. As the old saying goes: too much of anything is good for nothing.

Hah late 40's and I can smash is 3x a day sustained. I have an insane drive, always have. Hours and hours. Tough in an LTR - but hey whatever.
