It is common knowledge that music has a strong pyschological effect on us. In the book The Rational Male Rollo Tomassi explains how the idea of finding a soul mate is mostly a result of social conditioning. Not mentioned in the book is that some of that social conditioning can come in the form of music we listen too daily. It is important to break away from that that conditioning, or else we fall into the trap of pedestalizing woman.

“The feminized Disney-fication of this core concept has been romanticized and commercialized to the point of it becoming a religion, even

for the expressly non-religious. The Shakespearean longing for the ONE, the search for another soul

(mate) who was destined to be our match has been systematically distorted beyond all reason.”

One, topic on the manosphere that isn't really covered is the topic of music. The music you listen to it can effect you outwardly and inwardly. That being said we should compile a list of songs and music that aid in bringing out the alpha mind set.

To contribute first to the list I recommend to any AFC Frank Zappa's Joe's Garage. Zappa himself was a natural Alpha male. If you don't believe me watch any of his interviews.

Good post.

Hey, do you have "The Real Frank Zappa Book?" He makes that same point in it. Zappa claims most people's dysfunction in love and disappointment with life is caused by love songs because they set up an ideal of romantic love we never can achieve.

I'm constantly drawing parallels between Roosh and Zappa on here, since both have made it their mission to put unpleasant ideas before the public.

"Joe's Garage, Act I" was my first Zappa album. Not for everyone but it's tuneful, amusing, and still very politically incorrect -- perhaps more so than when it was released.

I haven't read it yet. However, my friend had the book and I recall having a discussion about that.
