An 'Everything Else' Forum Suggestion
Given the popularity of the thread 'American Girls be Like', I propose that this be the name of a new sub-forum that contains all threads pertaining to the strange behaviors, physical/mental illnesses, trends, crazy articles, and all the other symptoms of modern cultural decay(feminism, etc) we see in women happening non-stop.

I must confess to there being a selfish element in this proposal. On one hand, I am so tired of the latest incarnation of the crazy/damaged American woman putting herself and her life on display for us all to consume. On the other hand, it is a train wreck that I simply cannot turn my eyes from. '36 y/o mentially ill spinster "ready-ish to date" after carousel rides' is such serious click bait that it's hard to just bypass it.

There's a time and a place to rubberneck what's going on, but I'd prefer to just not have it mixed in with 'Everything Else'. Considering it takes up a quarter to a half of Everything Else on a daily basis, it certainly has enough material to warrant its own space.

Ultimately, it only passes on a load of negativity and disgust. It's not like we're winning the cultural war by gawking at this nonsense day in and day out and none of it is new. It's just re-hashed themes. Let's quarantine those crazy bitches and stop them from dominating the discourse.

TL;DR Make a new sub-forum to contain threads pertaining to American women's follies and the culture wars instead of it dominating 'Everything Else'

That is for people to moderate themselves and post what they deem relevant. I think unless it's necessary, a certain degree of focus should be kept. Nothing kills a community harder than splitting forums too much.

The Online Girl Hamster thread most closely resembles what youre suggesting.

But be careful. The depths of depravity contained within the first 2 pages alone are enough to drive you insane.

Many a men have visited it. Only a few have returned...

If you don't like threads, you should do what everyone else does and ignore them.

You yourself admit to being unable to avoid "click bait" (which is a term I'm not certain you know the meaning of) so I think it's also partially a problem of discipline on your end. It sounds to me like because you can't help but look you want the forum to hide what you consider "click bait" for your own good.

Or you could learn to cultivate discipline and self-control, a masculine skill.

I've got a solid idea of the quality of thought that emerges from Buzzfeed, Jezebel, Slate, Huffington Post and XOJane and the shit that feminists believe by now. I'll laugh about what guys are saying in the thread - there's some damn hilarious mofos on here - but I rarely bother reading the original articles anymore.

The modern female typist is uneducated, of middling IQ, arrogant about their believed intelligence, and woefully ill-informed, and there is nothing more I can learn from the female point of view that I couldn't already accurately-predict by the feminine desire for fantasy constructs that allow them to indulge in their heightened emotions.

RE: An 'Everything Else' Forum Suggestion
To clarify:

I don't want the forum to change just to accommodate me and my lack of will power. Regardless of whether that's the case, the questions remains if my proposal has merit or not. Chastise me all you wish, but the deeper point is that the 'Everything Else' section is dominated by the type of material I described and you must wade through it constantly in order to look at 'Everything Else'. Given its predominance, I thought it would be better served being in its own section. If you have a thought on that matter, it would be appreciated.

Imagine if the Knowledge Arts and Letters subforum was 1/3 Tony Robbins videos. Would you suggest there be a Tony Robbins section or just tell everyone not into Tony Robbins to wade through the links everyday?
