Grier took down the original Vine, but gay YouTuber Tyler Oakley re-posted it and wrote:

I find this ironic since this past week, the World Health Organization has basically agreed with Grier's original statement.

Nash's apology is probably a publicity cover for his upcoming movie with MTV and Dreamworks. An earlier 2012 tweet of his suggests that he is against gay marriage.

Some have suggested because his earlier video was posted in April, it was an April fool's joke. I think there is more to the story. It's interesting it's only just now surfacing as a scandal, and from one of his biggest competitors - an openly gay vlogger with million followers like Nash.

I don't buy the apology, but the circumstances around this all seem off. You know you're looking at a weird story when the thing that makes the most sense is a 16-year-old yelling fag on the internet.

He has a very punchable face and I've seen some of his shit before.

Not hating on the dude, respect for him for doing what's needed to earn a load of cash, but it's a sad world we live in when people like this are promoted to the masses. There's a guy out here called Dapper Laughs, as equally untalented but persisted with the lame stuff and it's caught on.

To be fair both sexes can catch HIV. It may be more prevalent among gay men due to the rampant raw anal sex with multiple partners they practice. But straight people can catch it as well.

They best way to avoid it is to abstain from all sex. The second would be being in a monogamous relationship and using condoms. Third is obviously to use condoms with every partner.

Gay men may spread it more rampantly but it's not a "gay disease". We really need to break that association. It's old thinking and ignorant.

Parlay, the odds of a man catching HIV from a woman are extremely small. And I mean, extremely. The transmission rates are tiny. People will try to tell you it "can" happen but that's basically PC propaganda. The truth is that it almost never does.

So for men, it pretty much is a gay disease (you can throw in drug users I suppose). For women it's a different story.

Agreed. It isn't a gay disease... the HIV+ population also includes a significant number of current- and ex-prisoners, street prostitutes, and injecting drug users. It's time to re-criminalise sodomy.

The odds of getting HIV from vaginal intercourse with an HIV positive woman with no condom
are about one in 5000. If she's on her period or blood is involved somehow I imagine the risk goes up.
