Animal worship is part of the decline. You would be wise to rid yourself of unnecessary attachments to animals your own self. At least you understand the difference between them. If you watch a dog being slammed on concrete a few times or a donkey's head crushed in China, cut up and served with the super happy smiles on their faces, perhaps then you can start undoing decades worth of brainwashing you have had in the West and realize why animals exist on this planet for. To serve you and I. Nothing more. Once you do that, then you will find things that actually hurt far more than an injured dog or cat, which will have more meaning in your life.

I don't understand animal love either. I love and eat meat. If a dog (or child) misbehaves badly enough it will get a smack on the ass. God gave me dominion over the animals around me, I shall continue to take advantage of it.
Regardless, beating another person's animal over a break up is petty.

yes and no. I think animals exist for food, companionship and servitude (horses) but I think that treating them with respect (or gratefulness) is still relevant. A video of a chicken processing plant would be different than that of some of the workers playing soccer with them in the cages.
I think putting animals above humans is a problem though. Case in point how people want to see the video of the guy getting the beating but not the dog. Human on human violence is ok, but not on animals?
Last, the guy flipped out but I reserve judgement without context especially if it is in a breakup. Maybe she sent him a whatsapp video of her sucking his best friend's dick and then burning all of his stuff...

RE: Beta beats GF dog for break up, gets ass beat by vigilante
There are links between animal abuse and the abuse of humans. This New York Times article outlines some of them, but I've read about this elsewhere.
Let's be clear about something: there is a difference between hunting an animal and sadistically beating one. The first speaks to our need for survival. Early humans hunted and ate certain animals, so this makes sense (although the PETA crowd will deny it).
But simply beating up an animal to wound it serves no biological imperative. It's an indication of a bully. And as I've posted many times before, the brain scans of bullies show they feel pleasure when others feel pain, so it's easy to see this carrying over to humans.
While the PETA/cat lady/animals-first crowd is hella annoying, I think the reason people get horrified by this is they see themselves in the place of the helpless animal. We've all been babies and most of us will be old and in need of assistance. No one wants to think there are people running around ready to punish you to satisfy their own twisted need for pleasure.

Agreed. A person that is sadistically beating an animal is basically showing why he should not be trusted with power/authority over anything or anyone. They should at worse be stopped, but put in prison for 2 years or bleeding hear lynch mob death threat junk is ridiculous. The punishment should be there if it was destruction of someone else's property. Which in this case it appears to be.

I think a lot of them are pretty damaged and animals give them "unconditional" love. I had a roommate once who was fucked up. She didn't do much to care for the dogs in the house, but she hugged the shit out of them when she got pumped and dumped.

This may be news to you, but the Universe doesn't revolve around homo sapiens. "They" were not placed here to serve "us". Other species existed for millions of years before us, and the Xtian "we're in this world, not of it" mindset has been one of the most damaging ideologies of the past 1,000 years.
And, oh yeah, I've beat an animal abuser's ass before and I enjoyed every second of it. There's no fundamental law that says people must value a human life above any other.
(And I grew up hunting and fishing and still do, so there's no PETA agenda here. It's simply cruel to beat a small defenseless animal for shits and giggles, and a person who does is a textbook sociopath)

100% agree, particularly your last paragraph. In related news:

Woman, 25, faces life in prison for stopping on highway to rescue ducklings and causing crash that killed a father and his daughter
A woman who parked her car on a highway to rescue ducklings has been found guilty of causing the deaths of a motorcyclist and his daughter who slammed into her vehicle...
I first read about this on Gawker, of course there were many comments of the "well, they're both at fault" variety.

80% of animal behaviour is a blank slate that women can ascribe human emotions onto.
Whereas real human beings are complex and might disappoint and frustrate her expectations.
Generally, animals play their required role in her life without complaint or complication.
Women like this don't want a man: they want a phantom construct of a man they've built up in their head to play a role she has already scripted for him.
Excessive love of pets is a warning sign for me. Any chick I've know who grew up in a house of multiple cats, dogs, and - especially - horses, has been a rampaging sloot with issues.
Also, goddamn, that post-beatup pic looks ... fake.
