No, ignore them. I run into a lot of these at my school due to crappy gender ratio and lack of hot chicks. This causes the 6's to act like 8's, and all the 8's behave like 10s(we have no actual 9's or 10's).

These girls get stuck up through the same process that all conceited women do-too much male attention(most of it undeserved). Too many supplicant betas laying their hearts at her feet=inflated ego.

They're used to being the center of the attention. Treat them like a part of the scenery(the opposite of what the other guys around you are likely doing). Don't feed them the attention they've come to expect from guys like you. If you appear reasonably high value in other ways(well dressed, decent shape, decent social status, a little pre-selection, etc) while basically treating her like just another chick friend or acquaintance, you stand a reasonable shot at getting her attention.

Anything less will just put you into the friend zone like the other 25,000 guys who have made passes at her and confessed their "undying love" and desire to be "more than friends".

I agree with the above

Girls who think or know they are the shit due to them being above average when it comes to looks, usually hold most of the initiative. You usually have to most definitely wait for a sign that they are interested in you before approaching them or it is a total waste of time.
