Thinking to much about game
I think some guys have it to much on their mind and end up fucking it up with the girl. You can read every thread on here and all the books out there but u have to find out what works for you. Am I wrong?

Your right. Some guys try too much to be a "player". Basicly it's like this: you have game or you don't.

RE: Thinking to much about game
Houston, I agree 100%. People will read 4 books about game, go out and talk to girls and all they can think about is what they should say next according to the books they read. They freeze up. Then when they fail, they blame it on not knowing the materials in the books well enough.

I definitely think you can get better at game. Reading about it can help for sure...but you also need to practice it as well. Eventually the things you think about *don't lean in, leaning against the bar so you face the crowd and she faces the bar, taking up space* this becomes automatic and you don't have to think about it anymore. Then social calibration kicks in and you're not using lines you read, but just evaluating the situations as you go. You start getting better.

So as Tommy said, you may have game or you may not...but a combination of reading in moderation and actually going out and practicing can definitely help you're pick-up. But there is no use in over stimulating yourself with books and no practical interaction with women...Bang is a good book because it's the basic nuts and bolts of pick up. Mystery Method is too in depth for someone who is starting out and way too much to think about...
