Another story of horny male bad judgment, Twitter attention-whoring, White-Knighting, hypocrisy, and manufactured outrage which is tangentially related to important issues and turns them into a farce in the USA.

There's a guy named John Schindler. He's a former NSA guy who was working as a professor in the Naval War College. He had a Twitter account in which he caustically and vehemently defended the NSA and attacked Snowden, Greenwald, etc.

I disagree with him about 95%. But I give him credit for stepping into the arena and speaking. He is married.

Somehow he came in contact with a "conservative" Twitter user who works as a waitress and uses the name of Lesley online. The usual snarky female-style stuff that tastes bad no matter what your politics are.

In the course of their on-line, virtual relationship, John sent Lesley "currahee88" dick pics.

Lesley "currahee88" sent the screen shots of the texting and dick pictures from John to another Twitter asshole, @T3H_ARCH3R, who since deleted his account and whose real name is Trent Jensen.



Woman at center of NSA defender's Twitter scandal apologizes

Jensen went on a white-knighting rampage and put the screen shots out on Twitter. Someone - "Lesley" denies it - filed a complaint with the War College.

Quote:“I don’t have any real political affiliation, I was just trying to stick up for her,” he said. He told BuzzFeed that both he and Lesley have received threats since the publication of the photos, and that “I’ve been getting a lot more than her because I’m the one who posted the photos.”

The War College has suspended Schindler. This is potentially more serious than with a civilian university, because Naval War College professors participate in classified studies and exercises and thus often if not always have a security clearance. Having a secret sexual life and having indiscreet bad judgment endanger your security clearance.

In the course of this, some other Twitter asshole @itsnilf publishes info about the white knight Trent's alleged girlfriend, and a rumor sweeps through Twitter that Jensen was shot dead.

On the one hand, I have a little bit of schadenfreude seeing a guy who defended the government collecting and looking at all of our text messages, emails and pictures get shamed by public disclosure of such private things.

It's also on him for getting into the mud and thinking that low-class Twitter users were all on the same plane as him. White trash and ghetto types trying to get someone to look at them.

But more than that I am disgusted by another "conservative" attention whore playing around with a married guy and then betraying him when she had no reason to betray him. She could have just blocked him and walked away, instead she had to create drama and ask for "help" from a white knight.

Like Jenny Erickson, the "conservative" mommy blogger who could not shut up about her frivolous divorce, a hypocrite.

Everything in America turns into a farce nowadays.

White knight: 'defends' depraved women by shaming and attacking men and masculinity.
NSA lackey: 'defends' the depraved leviathan state by shaming and attacking advocates for privacy and freedom.

Not even a little sympathetic for this dude.

Plus, the government's decision to fire him is not controversial by security standards at all. Having his dick pics is a huge security liability with which she could potentially blackmail him and solicit access to classified materials. Closeted gay men and men with secret mistresses are liabilities by the same token.

And why are pictures of the male nude body such a taboo that they're a firing offense?

I don't buy that having nude pictures of a man on the internet can lead to blackmail, when even brides and bridesmaids are showing their asses off on facebook.

The solution isn't to get worried that there's nude pictures of you on the internet, but that there's *bad* nude pictures of you on the internet. The guy should spend a couple hundred on getting professional photoshopped nude photos of himself, and use those instead. Good pictures flood out the bad.

If you're proud of your nude body, you can't be blackmailed. Time to make some pictures to be proud of.

This is a repeat of the 2011 incident where New York congressman Chris Lee had to resign after an attention-seeking female writer outed him for sending shirtless pics of himself via Craigslist.

He was married and passing himself off as single. So he had to resign for cheating without ever actually having had an affair (as far as I know).

I think any man who works in a high-security field needs to be careful with this stuff, because most American women 1). Love drama; 2). Love shaming men and 3). Have no shame themselves.
