I'm back in the USA for a few months. One of the things that I've noticed is a lot of young men are gay or are acting gay. I'm in a typical flyover city. This isn't the coasts. I've seen a lot of homosexual behavior, during the day, in just a few days.

I don't remember seeing this just a year ago. For the 35+ crowd, have you noticed more gay guys recently than there used to be?

Maybe Alex Jones is right. Maybe the illuminati is putting gay shit in the water.

It's funny you should write this, because I could have sworn some guy was checking me out today. He made it a point to walk into a store right near me (most people when walking in doors either hold up or speed ahead a bit). Gave me several glances inside. He'd apparently checkec out first but when I was checking out he stopped and stood there looking at me. And then he waited and continued to stare. WTF?!

I gave him a few glances that were so harsh I'm sure they caused him to scurry away. This is the DC suburbs during midday, so I'd say, yeah, things are changing.

Men are more effeminate for sure in America. Canadians are probably somewhat worse, except in Alberta and the rural areas.

I disagree there are more gays. These feminized men are straight.

I can't tell if there are more or less gay people because I'm in NYC, but I can confidently say that the new generation seems softer than my generation. Or maybe it's just all the suburban white kids moving from the middle of America to North Brooklyn.

NYC used to be more dangerous.

I highly doubt there's actually more gay people, it's just that our society is doesn't shame and persecute gays any more. So it's just that people who, say 50 years ago were in the closet, now are comfortable coming out. It's weird, but eventually we'll get to some equilibrium where like 7-10% of the population is gay/queer/whateverthefucktheywanttobecalledthesedays and the rest is straight. I don't think it's either good or bad, just different.

I've noticed there is a sharp division regarding this.

One camp thinks more gays/LGBT queer rights (whatever you wanna call it) in society is bad for straight men, because straight men will not be seen as important given the current gay agenda. Typical right-wing the more lgbt = society will get weirder. Or that urban women will now only have more gay best friends to help them pick out the latest high heels. Essentially, traditional men WILL lose, simply because more gays seem to equate victory for gay men.

Another camp, realizes the ratios in America are so male-heavy in the 18-44 age bracket, and sees any kind of behavior whether it's actual gays or the proliferation of herby beta SWPL-types who get sassy over the wrong kind of Chai tea at Trader Joe's as only being a good thing. It's simply less true competition.

If 80% of men were gay, forums like this might not even exist. There would barely be any competition.

Interesting you mention that. Maybe the suburbs have something to do with this? Lets see:

Over the last 25 years, education has become more feminized. More female teachers, more stupid, useless rules.

So you have all these kids from the suburbs growing up with everyone telling them how their penises are evil serpents of doom. They've been given drugs like ritalin, which are definitely more hardcore on an objective basis than weed or psychedelics, which make them passive and beta. Any alphas, regardless of whether they are good role models or not, are derided and these kids choose not to emulate them but emulate pussies like Leonard from the Big Bang Theory.

This causes them to look up to guys with effeminate and clothing tastes, aka Hipsters, and become like them in college. When they graduate, they either move back with their parents or move to cities like NYC or LA, which aren't dangerous anymore. This is why they you see so many of them in (predominantly white/ Asian) neighborhoods.

Girls get into the subculture because its a way of rebelling. That's why virtually every hipster girl has Skrillex hair or tattoos.

Same with a few alpha guys. They want to rebel and so they get into it. Good to remember that this is a small minority of guys.

You also have a few players get into the subculture to get pussy. That amount is pretty miniscule though, they're only present in hipster bars.

You won't see any hipsters in the streets of Detroit or the hood in Chicago. Kids in these environments have been taught to be careful and watch their backs. The feminism taught in schools preaches a distant reality from their daily lives. They know what's up and they're generally careful or into thug culture. Black and Hispanic hipsters are rare because hipsterism is for upper middle class and rich kids. But they may adopt certain hipster styles.

And that is why a lot of guys look gay when they're actually just hipsters.

when I was back for a couple months it did seem that millennials were acting less masculine and more effeminate. Pajama Boy types who also have these softer less manly voices.

Also, everyone is saying 'like' way too much still.

I have seen this myself, I do believe that some guys going down the Elliot Rodgers, simply chose to be gay. They don't feel like a man, can't get women; and decide to just say "screw it, i will be gay". I don't believe this is the case with most gays, but I can see a lot of men going through the feminization process, will choose this root.

It is a far out root, but if you are sucking out all of masculine energy out of an individual, they will latch on to a feminine persona.

It's because women are more masculine. Men have to become über-masculine or feminine(acting gay) in order to differentiate themselves from the females. There's always an alpha/beta or male/female element to any relationship.

Its funny you mention this! When I was working downtown Chicago, the suburban kids were they funniest to watch walking around. They had the obvious look of fear/panic being there. But the best is when the homeless would approach and all the kids would freak out and give money just to be left alone!

I would hate to be raised like that....

Not sure if I'm seeing way more gay people or I never noticed. I'm seeing a lot more gay people everywhere including work. A few years ago I would see an occasional gay but now I have gay guys hitting on me very aggressively. There's even dudes cat calling me while i'm walking around at work.

About a month ago I went to a local meet up and most of the guys were very feminine. I wouldn't say they were gay but they had a lisp or a very feminine way of speaking. At first I thought they were just gay but after talking to them found out they do like girls, they just haven't been laid for a really long time or ever. They just gave up on hooking up with girls and they would all try to hook up with the fat chick in the group.

Kind of seems like we're moving towards androgynous gender roles. Roissy wrote about it here:
