I know it's wrong, but all I can think is "would bang" when I see the photos and read the story.

The gruesome spectacle aimed to highlight the cruelty inflicted on animals during cosmetic laboratory tests and raise awareness that animal testing is still a common practise.
The Humane Society International and Lush Cosmetics have joined forces to launch the largest-ever global campaign to end animal testing for cosmetics.
The campaign, launched to coincide with World Week for Animals in Laboratories, is being rolled out simultaneously in over 700 Lush Ltd shops across forty-seven countries including the United States, Canada, India, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Russia.
Lush campaign manager Tamsin Omond said: “The ironic thing is that if it was a beagle in the window and we were doing all these things to it, we’d have the police and RSPCA here in minutes.
“But somewhere in the world, this kind of thing is happening to an animal every few seconds on average.
“The difference is, it’s normally hidden. We need to remind people it is still going on.”

This stupid whore was not "tortured". That is a word that has a real meaning. It has nothing to do with the mild sexual stimulation administered to her.

What this reveals, however, is that underneath these people's seemingly sentimental obsession with the "welfare of animals" lurks an actual hatred of the human being. Many of them would indeed love to torture the human being for its supposed sins. That is what makes the whole thing truly frightening.

I don't get it. Without animal testing it'd be pretty hard to make reasonable products in cosmetics and also progress in pharmaceuticals. Without animals we'd be using humans. So until we can create a fake human who reacts to everything given to it exactly like a human (or animal) would, animal testing will continue. (But then wouldn't it be robot torture?)

But anyway, mad props to her for actually doing shit about what she believes in. Most people would just write a blog post or tweet about it. Her opinion is wrong, but at least I respect her for sticking up for it.

It's also worth mentioning that most guys here probably don't use any pharmaceuticals or wear makeup. It's generally women who benefit from animal testing, IMO. Why she would protest it when she's probably barely functional without anti-anxiety/depression meds is beyond me.
