In LTR, she's amazing and slim now, but I've seen pictures from before. I'm looking for a line or two that will keep things as they are now. Let her know I'm into thin girls and maybe she wants the salad instead. Something subtle so I don't have a steaming pile of shit to deal with. I googled this and apparently I'm a dick for just asking. Maybe you guys have some advice?

Start hitting the gym if you don't already, and have her join you.

Better to lead with action than words.
Chicks love couples activities.

Are you just worried?
Keep your mouth shut. If she said, "I just want you to know, I'd leave you if you lost your job and I had to support us." would you be pissed?
Same thing.
Now if you were about to lose your job and she said you need to start looking for another, that's just fine... because its reactive, its not saying she doesn't trust you, but instead that she's worried.

Give her benefit of the doubt, and if you're really worried.... Just hit the gym. Or pick up running.

Runner chicks always have great bodies and abnormally high sex drive.

"Honey, I want to see how fit we can get."
"Let's do this together."
"Look at all these fat cows around us, I never want either of us to look like that. Ew. imagine looking in the mirror at a double chin. We should start going to gym/running together. It will be fun."

just tell her she is gaining weight and if she doesnt hit the gym it is over... simple as that

if she takes offense and gets upset show her the door... otherwise a year down the line you are going to accidentally knock the cunt up and she will be twice as big... Trust me I just saw it this past weekend with a great buddy who fell victim to it.

I'm convinced that some responsibility for women gaining weight in a relationship is attributed to the man.

If you're always going out for carbs, drinking, and being lazy with your girl, should you be surprised if she gains 10lbs?

If you're highly active, leading a healthy lifestyle, and producing, wouldn't she follow along?

I've heard of insecure guys, (in the Mexican culture specifically) trying to get their wives fat so that they are unattractive to everyone else. (Sounds dumb, but it makes sense to me. Hard to find a thin Mexican woman over 30).

I tell all my girls my weight limit is 55kg. They laugh because they're under it while most girls are over it. However, they know where the line has been drawn.

In addition to what's being said, you can talk about the health element to it all and how unhealthy it is to be just a little overweight and/or not eat healthy.

You could simply point out an overweight (but not obese) chick and say something "'Look at her, she looks so unhealthy, disgusts me, I'd never be in a relationship/married with someone like that, etc." You could literally drill this point home every day/week given how many fatties there are in the US.

I'm in a similar situation.

I just started talking a lot more about me hitting the gym. Bring it up every time I am going to the gym and eating healthy.
Eventually she started to get self conscious and say things like "Yeah I think I should do the same" to which I would reply some shit like "Pfft Yeah you talk a good gym sesh".
Then after carrying this on for a while I said "Well stop talking about it and get your fat ass up at 5 and come to the gym with me before work" (she isn't fat, I just like fit girls).
So she ended up doing it, started feeling better and liking it and wanted to do it more.

I guess you just have to make her self conscious about herself enough to want to make a change.
I call my girlfriend "fat ass" every time she wants a pizza or ice cream.

Its all worked. But recently she tore the ligaments in her knee and will be away from physical activity for fuck-knows how long :-(

I told my girlfriend when we started dating that I would dump her if she got fat. The next week she wanted to come with me to the gym and learn how to properly do squats.

We also take my dog on runs and she paid for a 5k for us to run together.

So what about athletic girls? It's very easy for a 5'6 girl to weight 135 pounds and still look great. I don't care about weight, I care how they look. I'd rather be with a girl who's 125-135 with some muscle from exercising than a skinny 105 pounder who's never done a squat in her life.

Then I would proceed asking her what she things about getting fat. Then you got drop hints you don't like fat girls.

Yes, it is harsh and she will love you for it, or at least respect you. This is reality.

Don't "hint" she will spin anything into whatever she wants to hear.

It's pretty simple: 1) make sure your own nutrition/gym game is on point - no excuses. 2) make fun of fatties - all the time. It's America, there's no shortage of them so this part should be relatively easy.

If she is worth keeping around, you will find that she will laugh your jokes and start making fun of fatties herself, as well as get in the gym/eat well etc. AKA -she buys into your frame.

If she is offended in any way or sticks up for them - NEXT!!! That's the equivalent of a ticking fat bomb. Let some other sucker be around when she blows up. BOOOM!

What's more harsh is a bitch thinking she can get fat, and you should love her the same, even when she steps out of the shower and her gut is wobbling to and fro like she's on a ship at sea.

It's really quite simple. Be as blunt or as subtle as you want, but at the end of the day you need to make it clear. "I live a healthy lifestyle. You can do whatever you want, but if you want me to stick around, you're going to have to take care of yourself". Relationships are and should be 'at will', especially for the guy. You should feel comfortable walking out of the relationship whenever you want. Always act like there are 100 other girls who are lined up outside your door, just waiting for you to finish this relationship. If she won't take care of her body, someone, who's probably younger, hotter, and more tolerable, will. Her call.

-Make fun of fat people.

-When eating out a waiter or waitress will ask you what you'd like to drink. Order 2 waters for the both of you. It's also way cheaper with a plus side of being healthier.

-Only drink soda on special occasions and when you do, split it.

-Tell her you dumped one of your former girlfriends because she got fat.

-Once you have established that you do not like fat people and she starts eating better and working out you can play games with the girl by asking her if she would like some candy at the check out line. If all is done right you should get a response similar to this, "Moreless says I can't have candy."

-Every time a girl says she's hungry I tell her, "That's good, all girls should be hungry and drunk."
