You guys are BOTH wrong.

How it comes across depends entirely on the body language of both parties involved. In turn that body language is almost always going to reflect the actual power relationship between a couple. if the dude looks like he's a "pet" then 90% of the time he is a pet.

Newbies, remember this. Where a behavior comes from is more important than what the behavior actually is. That's why I get me getting flowers usually leads to making out followed by sex and you get friendzoned for bringing flowers. You all bring the flowers because you hope she'll like you for it, I'm bringing them because I KNOW she already likes me and I am choosing to reward that.
