I know that this story came out several months ago (Nov. 2013), but I just read about it recently and I was dying laughing. It's kind of like the old J.R. Smith story. The dude just won a title with the San Antonio Spurs and I'm sure that there are no shortage of chicas on his nuts now especially. I believe they're uncomfortable with the real world attention and the social possibilities fucking a famous man would provide.

Far easier to gain social status by publicly-humiliating him via the media - this way she gains a huge boost of social approval and never has to step outside her comfort bubble of friends, work and home.

This is why you need game: never look too-interested, eager or needy. She can either accompany you on your journey, or not, and you're unphased either way. This feeds into her lack of self-worth and fear of real intimacy.
