Met a woman at a bar a couple of months ago. We hit it off well.

Side note: I didn't kiss her because I've been experimenting with not kissing in the bar and keeping her wanting more and using that to get her back to my place.

Anyway, she used work the next day as an excuse to not come to my place. After that, we tried making plans to meet a few times, but one of us always had to cancel. I stopped responding after a while. Anyway, she emails me the other other day with:
1. an explanation of why she has been so busy (legit)
2. that she met someone else before she met me and they are becoming serious
3. that she is moving abroad for work in a month
4. that she really liked me and wants to see me again before she leaves, but as a friend, and wants to keep in touch

She knows from our first meeting that I will be a great lover, and I suspect that is the source of her interest. Because it seems to me that if she and this guy are getting serious, that she'd want to spend much of her remaining time in town with him and her other friends, rather than spending time making new friends.

Or am I reading too much into this? Does she really just want to hang out as friends or is she hoping I seduce her? If the latter, why did she tell me she has a boyfriend?

I say go for it! Always assume its on! Personally I'd rather try and fail than be constantly left wondering about it... or even worse; end up as a nice backup plan or some lame ego boost.

It could all just be some shit test too. Take her up on her offer and invite her out for drinks. Play it cool and work your magic. Then watch her body language and you can take it from there. If she's actually into you, she won't have a problem going back to your place...

How long she's going abroad is a pretty big factor too. If its going to be for a while I'm sure she would be an easy swoop. No woman is gonna say "Hey you're game is tight, but I'm moving away. We should definitely fcuk a couple times before I leave." But she would say "You're pretty cool and we should hang out before I go."
