This is something that has been bothering me for quite some time.
I was raised by my single mom and was a noodle-armed beta all my life until i discovered the manosphere recently last year.
I'm 18 now and i'm watching my 4-year old brother going through the exact same process (maybe worse, as his dad is the biggest beta provider i have ever encountered).
Would appreciate any advice on how to bring the subject up to my mom, and maybe influence her to a different kind of parenting, as i am moving out after summer.

I guess it depends upon what shes doing that you dont like and what you want done. Rralize that ultimatel6 how shes gonna raise him is how shes gonna raise him. You could sit down and have a heart to heart with your mom. Id staty by telling her thanks for everything so she doesnt get defensive but maybe add that in some aspects you maybe missed out by not having a mans perspective on things. Im sure most single mothers realize no matter how great a parent they are they cant fill the part of a man and i think most want their kid to grow up to be a man. Id say the best thing you can do is be a regupar part of your bros life and be that role yourself. Obviously hes 4 so your not gonna be coaching h8m on game and stuff. I think at tjat age and for the mext few years you need to show him how a confident guy actsetc. Hel pickup on that. You can also teach him small lessons about being assertive, how to play sports, etc

He's a kid still. That's the language that he can understand at this point in time. Usually tribes take boys along with the men to go hunting and fishing after age 7.

Leave him be for now. He still needs his mommy. Just be a big brother and a role model and do guy stuff with him. Try to talk to him about girls when he's ready. Just be cool.

What makes you think she'd even listen, and not fuck up if she did? She's a woman, doing what comes naturally to her. He needs a man in his life, if you're going to talk to anyone, talk to the dad.

You're his brother, right? Or at least half-brother? If he's like every other boy, he idolizes you. So stay in his life and be a good influence. Don't have to build him up to be kindergarten pimp, but like Parlay said, be his big brother. In my experience, the girl drama starts amongst themselves in 2nd grade and by 4th grade it's fully spilled over to the boys, by 5th grade girls are talking crushes and "boyfriends". You've got a few years before it's game on.

I agree about having a man around. My old friend is a single mom. Her son just graduated 8th grade and she's posting pics of him wearing a hot pink dress shirt at the graduation and party. I'm like ...really?

A woman can't teach a boy how to be a man. Only a man do that.

Spend as much time with him as you can, be a role model of what it means to be a masculine man. Nothing else you do is more effective than being a masculine role model. If he's young, even better. Your behavior will be imprinted on his brain causing him to mimic your behaviors for the rest of his life.

You can't save a kid from his mother.

You can simply show him where each path leads and let him choose. His instincts will do the rest.

As an adult, he may fear losing his mother's love if he become truly successful. Let him know he won't lose your for becoming a man.

You were able to save yourself at 18, I would advise giving your brother time to develop his own identity as well and then stepping in. Also, as long as your mom isn't abusing him there is still a certain amount of respect you need to show her as a parent. Trying to interfere and butt heads with your mom over her 4 year old child will be multiple times more difficult than having the same talk about her 13/14 year old son who is probably pissing her off with teenage rebellion anyway.

Don't butt heads with your mother. Just spend time with your younger brother when you can and show him how a man acts. No words are even necessary, really. Play with him, give him a good childhood.

Exactly - spend time with him. Show him what it means to be masculine. And tell him about the Red Pill when he gets 10-13. He will realize a few things. If he loves you and respects you then he will listen to you. Your mother can wail and cry all she wants - at the age of 12 guys can easily be influenced either way. A strong positive male presence can go a long way.

That is my experience with my younger cousins - they are all getting the Red Pill wisdom from me so that they will hit their teen years running at Game-speed! One is already applying Game at his girlfriend at the age of 14,5. I guess he will be a Natural with Game knowledge by 17.

There has been a lot of good advice posted above. When I needed my father he wasn't there and I didn't have a brother. If you follow Samseau's advice I'm sure you'll be the best brother ever. Your mother is the default position for the lack of positive masculine influence. Her power exists only in a vacuum, so it shouldn't be that hard to be a role model.

Thanks for all the enthusiastic response.
You are correct - he is still 4 years old.
Being a active part of his life might prove to be a challenge, but when the time is right, i will without doubt set him on the right path.

Just do stuff with him. Saturday's, just you and him. Museum's, libraries, sports, music, babe watching, food. He'll be telling your mother what he is doing tomorrow with you. She'll be happy he isn't taking up her time. Avoid pop culture activities.

To be a real man you need both parents, male and female. Anything else will only very loosely resemble said man. A real man needs to know the ying and yang of such relationships and then it's on him.
