Is he stupid? Why plead for the supportive company of men among women? He even knows that he won't be sympathized, regardless of the legitimacy of his problem.

The username secondhand_emotion is telling. Guys here have names like Hades and Chaos. I'm not going to knock the guy too much, since it's just a couple words, but I mean come on...his username basically means "emotionally used."

Sucks that he has women in his life abusing a fucked-up system to exert control over him. It's truly intolerable. Hope the dude figures his shit out. There are some people very close to me that I no longer choose to visit because the woman does this kind of thing. It's a sad fucking state of affairs.

Good point. We should be able to see these kinds of nutcase women from a mile away and also avoid them like the plague. It's really not that hard to tell when a woman is mentally unstable, but unfortunately most men, like this guy, are brainwashed and are incapable of seeing women as anything but innocent little angels who can do no harm and thus are unable to avoid putting themselves in situations with dangerous women like the one in his story.

They argued, he left, she followed him, she threatened to call the police, and assaulted him. She clearly thought she would be believed over him, so why would that be exactly? Yes, because she is a WOMAN. Why can't the guy see the system is biased against him because he is a guy?

Making excuses for her behaviour, it's not so bad compared to blah blah blah, then goes to stay with his brother for a few days.
He'll go groveling back soon enough, there is no changing these people, they need the abuse.

Now is not the time to judge this guy. He's at a vulnerable place and is still wondering about his wounds. If we helped him heal, he MIGHT come over to our side. If he feels like we are judging, he'll go right back to the women who have hurt him.

Of course, I don't know if it's any one incident that makes a man take the red pill. It's probably several.

There probably is a battered man syndrome just as there is one for battered wives.

He mentions the hotel only cared about the issue for their own reasons (they ignored his plight) and then turns on Men's Rights as not being an outlet for male issues...because they don't validate his views on women?

His problem is that he prioritizes other people's problems ahead of his own. He drops that paragraph about "how women have it worse" like it fucking matters! You are talking about your life, stop qualifying what is going on! Stop pretending you are better then women to explain away what happened to you, which is his real point about violence against women: "Whew! At least I'm not one of those womenfolk!"

He is seeking out a community of men -- and he said that -- because a woman violated him, but it is beyond his ideology to admit that men need space to communicate without female influence.

He has imbibed Michael Kimmel's doctrine that men need to always pretend that women are around, in order to cure themselves of their decrepit sexism.

Of course, when you spend your life in absolute terror of losing female (feminist) approval, you get men like this.

He needs help from a trained therapist, not some moronic, infantile feminists online.

It sounds like the harridan was wanting to be hit. Fearful women tend not to follow a man making an escape and stopping him from escaping is the most likely time that he'd throw an arm around and lash out. It's a great passive-aggressive investment to provoke a man as it provides more power over him as well as within the feminist collective as a high-priestess of victimhood deserving of attention from and worthy to speak the mysteries of the theaology.

Such a guy is too far gone. Maybe he will learn his lesson the hard way - either being killed/maimed by the next bitch or he will experience what it really feels like to be someone's bitch, when he gets jail time for some fake accusation. That way he can experience real rape culture in prison. But even then misogyny will likely be the culprit in his little brainwashed Beta-mind.

So many guys running around like this in the US. This is the result of our educational system, and societal re-engineering. I have not an ounce of sorrow for this guy.

That "I have lived over 30 years and never experienced this" - He hasn't truly "lived" over 30 years. He's staying with this chick, then he bounces to his family when he gets beat up by a girl. Then they will probably tire of his whiney ass and want to punch him too. He probably lived with his parents before this or some other close associate, too nice not to say no to him. A real self sufficient man here.

He reminds me of the guys that were programmed by Pearl Jam in the '90's. By feminist rock music and pop culture. A neck beard perhaps. A guy that identifies with granola jam bands, and indie rock, but isn't ballsy enough to actually go out and take risks like his idols. To live in a van, to be homeless, to get dirty, hitchhike. He probably stocks shelves in a Whole Foods, and has never learned a skill. Earns just enough to get by, even shows promise for management, but one thing just keeps holding him back. He forgot that his penis works.
