Keep it simple and just go to BKK, you can't go wrong there.

I really hate posts like this. Its obvious op has done very little research. And at 25 wants to be hand fed great advice so he doesn't actually have to do anything.

Also why he's hoping he can coast on being "white enough".

RE: First time traveling for notches in Asia (25 year old looking for advice from vets!!)
From experience I've been to Tokyo, Bangkok, Phuket & Bali. So I'll give my 2c on those locations.

Personally I think a relaxing & affordable environment is just as important as the ability to pick up [Even if it isn't your primary goal]. The reason I say this is that the environment will affect your mood & the mood of those around you.

Tokyo is quite expensive. The language barrier is tough & the city probably don't have the same 'party' vibe of some of the other cities. Personally however I loved the place. This had nothing to do with the women but more so regarding the food & culture. I'm a fairly standard looking Aussie dude. In Australia I average a girl each week but I'm not really too motivated to chase nowadays. In Tokyo it was quite a bit easier but from experience everywhere is easier than Sydney.

I've been to Bangkok numerous times. Love the place [Especially for visual inspiration as I work in film] but 2 weeks is a very long time. It's busy & personally a bit claustrophobic. In terms of women however; there is no resistance. A small amount of effort can get you laid every night.

Phuket & Bali are pretty similar. A lot of tourists [A little less in the middle months]. It's very easy to pick-up tourists. I've never attempted to pick up the locals in these destinations though so I can't comment on how easy/hard it is.

I personally would hit up Bangkok for a few days, get some cheap clothing then shoot down to Phuket. You can get fantastic accommodation on the water, get a daily massage [Not sexual], eat shell fish like crazy & pick up European girls with ease - All for next to nothing.

Hearsay really shouldn't be posted on a forum. Everyone exaggerates their travel stories. Reading up on the threads posted here from 1st point of view experiences, I would avoid South Korea if I ever came to Asia. Seems like too much work for very little play.

Oh. Your black friends in the military ran through Korea?

A place where white skin and plastic surgery to appear more Caucasian are worshipped and is culturally the norm.

A place where the best looking white dudes are ignored and struggle to get 5s and 6s.

Sounds legit.

I think it's too simplistic how people focus on the White God factor for Asian countries. It is not impossible that a black dude in Korea or some other Asian country did well. Some of the biggest true players I've seen in my travels have been black dudes and they've done well in all sorts of countries, including in Korea/Asia.

I would have to agree with the guys here saying to avoid South Korea.

From the information already here on RVF, as well as what I've heard and read, South Korea is an extremely esoteric and xenophobic society.

Foreigners are generally unwanted in South Korea, and this goes for anyone: Whites, Blacks, Indians, Middle Easterners etc. Other Asians will probably not stick out as much, but even they are treated poorly there.

I would not believe anyone who said that they "ran through Korea" unless they were Korean themselves and had a lot of game/social status/money. I especially would not believe it if a US military guy said it (whether white or black).

If you want to game Korean girls, simply do what I do - game those who are outside Korea (such as those on holidays, foreign students, those who are overseas for work etc).

I've done a lot of research...but literally every thread I've come across is written by a white or black guy. So I'm trying to get a Hispanic perspective.

Let me lay it out for you: I've struggled with women that are in the 7+ range in America for the following reasons:

-I'm "too short" - I've had several attractive girls tell me or my friends that they like me but I'm too short...even though I'm a good 4-6 inches taller than them. I'm 5'8"-5'9".
-I'm half hispanic, half white...which DOES NOT HELP when trying to date white or asian women in the USA. Latinas like me, but I really don't have a thing for them or black women.
-My game is average and my confidence isn't the greatest because all the attractive girls turn me down before they even say a word to me because I'm too short...despite the fact that I'm extremely fit and have a pretty good-looking face. I still don't understand how 68.5 inches is too short, but attractive american women are crazy so that may explain it.
-I connect much better with and can typically attract the more feminine women, so America isn't the place for me.

Therefore, I'm looking to find a country in which a decent-looking, very fit, 68.5 inch tall hispanic/caucasian american is considered attractive by the highest possible percentage of women. Obviously I would love to have the white god factor if it exists, but for now I'll just settle for somewhere in which I just have a significantly better chance than here. Confidence and game won't be much of an issue I don't think.

Koreans like white skin because people with tanned skin are from the lower classes who work outdoors...NOT because they want to look Caucasian.

Korean get eyelid surgery because they want to look like Asians who naturally have "bigger" eyes...NOT because they want to look Caucasian

Dreambig, Exactly.

You did so much research that you somehow missed most people on this forum use a screenname that is part of their persona.

Your choice reflects your intention not to contribute and stick around.

Your choice of thread title is designed to get people to compete and give you the best information they have, so you'll have to do less research.

You've contributed zero, but start a thread wanting advice.

You say you've researched the threads but ask questions about topics that have been discussed many many times by every race on here.

It's obvious you're just here to get handed things on a silver platter and will never contribute anything.

Buja you've sold me. Im sure black military guys ran through Korea now.

Basically I was wrong. Koreans want to look like Caucasians, they just don't like caucasians is that what you're saying?

The school I taught at in Korea had a Korean-produced book with the following dialogue:

Child 1: "Where are you from?"
Child 2: "I'm From Africa"
Child 1: "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that"

Korea is racist as hell against black dudes. The kids would always insult each other by saying they're from Africa

Also, one time I was eating Pizza in Busan with forum member 'Ethan Amarante'.

Ethan: "Shit! there's a black man over there!"
Me: "*Puts down pizza* where? where? where?!"

They don't like giving them the TEFL jobs as they don't look like Macaulay Culkin, so you will see barely any outside of Seoul.

My shock seems kinda ridiculous, but after a few months in Korea stuff like that becomes normal

Also, the old people used to shout 'big nose' at me when I walked down the road

they dont want to look Caucasian, pale skin is desireable because it symbolizes class (remember that korea was almost third world 60 years ago) so they like having that really delicate, flawless porcelein skin look. its kind of like how pale skin has gone in and out of style in america- first, pale skin meant you werent an outdoor laborer so you had money, then it meant you didnt work in a factory so you had money.

as for the eyes, generally speaking, koreans and japanese really like the cuteness that come with childhood. big eyes make someone look younger, and kids with big eyes are considered cuter than kids with small eyes. this i also true in japan, and why girls dress like toddlers even though they're in college.

Which the end result is to look more caucasian.

I really don't see how this is even a debate.

Poor people are in africa, black people come from Africa. Korean mentality "black = poor"

My comments are in relation to the bs belize king was saying about his black buddies running through korea.

My comments have only to do with that.

How is that not obvious?

As someone who spent over 12 months in Korea, I can confirm that it's in incredibly difficult places to game, particularly outside of Seoul.

To return to a point someone else (Leighton?) made in another thread, it's incredibly easy to think you're getting loads of good attention, but the vast majority of the time this will be nothing more than intrigue. Attractive Korean women may very well open conversations with you, but turning that into lays can be very laborious.

You'll really struggle to lay a Korean without exceptional game outside of the capital.

Also, on the point by Fisto and clever alias - I actually happen to agree with both of you. The beauty standard Korean women aspire to does look quite European ("Caucasian") but many would deny that they're actually trying to look White.

I'm not sure how much truth there is to this, but it's often said that the idea that pale skin predates Western influence in East Asia. The same is supposedly true of eyes - Koreans often have surgery to remove the epicanthal folds on their eyelids, giving them a more "Western" look.

Look at some scroll artwork sometime dating back to the Tang dynasty. These women all have porcelain "white" skin and rounder eyes. This predates european contact by centuries. This is an example of what asian ideal beauty looks like.

However, if you see some asian chick with blue contacts, dyed blonde hair, short skirt, "fuck me" heels, and a bad attitude then yes she most definitely is trying to be white.

pale skin in east asia goes way back to before the average person knew white people existed - geishas were painted as having the ultra pale painted face, and korea received japanese influence.

Yeah, you're both almost certainly right about skin colour - I should have thought a little more before so cautiously wording my post.

What I would say, though, is that I'm not so sure about this:
(07-30-2014 04:56 AM)clever alias Wrote:  you cant be xenophobic yet want to be another race at the same time

I get the impression that in a lot of Korean womens' minds, they're following the Korean fashion of having coloured contacts, surgery on their nose and eyelids and so on, rather than emulating Westerners.

Sure, it may very well be true that the root of these trends can be found in the West, and the K-pop trendsetters are looking towards Western fashion, but the average (possibly xenophobic) Korean girl on the street isn't consciously trying to look Western, despite in a roundabout way she might "want to be another race".

Korean culture and its relationship with the West is incredibly complicated and you'll rarely get an insightful answer by chatting to K-pop fans who just follow the pack.

You could even say this is analogous to 'black lifestyle' in Japan. Women who adhere to it may be very racist/xenophobic, but still in some way "want to be another race".

Anyway, I don't want to derail this thread too much. My original point, that getting laid in Korea is relatively difficult, still stands.

Back on the topic of Korea.. they are definitely very ethnocentric. I think a lot of the ethnic chest beating about how "easy" it is, is just that..chest beating and has nothing to do with reality for the most part. If it were that easy you wouldn't be seeing the massive amount of foreigner complaints and angst that S. Korea has become infamous for.

With that being said i'm not sure why anyone would go gaga over Koreans to begin with. While the women can have long sexy legs they also tend to have really round or broad kimchi eating pie faces too. The sexy ones also tend to have shitloads of pointless plastic surgery done. This means if you ever have a long term relationship with one she'll certainly start looking like a freakshow in her 40's ruining the benefits of asian delayed aging. Koreans are also very argumentative and difficult long term. Google "korean han" sometime to see what i'm talking about.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Han_%28cultural%29

All the same korean physical traits sans cultural attitude problems can be found in central asia in various 'stan countries. It's like getting Korean pussy without the hassles of actually dealing with Koreans.

they're also petulant and prone to tantrums to get what they want

i had limited (some, but not much) success with social circle game. if someone spoke korean and had a look that koreans liked, social circle game might work well

From my limited experience there seems to be quite a lot of truth in what other posters were saying about how people from some of the 'stans look like they could pass for NE Asians, if that's what you're looking for.

Here's a (not very fair, to be honest) example.

The Stans have girls who look all over the spectrum. Tajikistan is basically mini Iran so the girls look Persian. To me Kyrgyzstan girls looked the most "Asian" whereas Kazakh girls were a bit more mixed. In all these places you get some Russian chicks too. Even within the Asian looking girls some look more NE Asian than others.

Overall it would be a great region except that it is still relatively conservative and girls have not been as exposed to foreigners/tourists.
