Miller had posted a series of anti-government, pro-gun rants on the internet going back months, calling for "bloodshed" against the "tyrannical and fascist" state. In one he said: "Would George Washington have used an AK against the British? Yes, a resounding yes". The day before the shootings he wrote: "The dawn of a new day. May all our coming sacrifices be worth it”.

The couple married in 2012 and had moved to Las Vegas from Indiana within the last year. Miller spent his days dressing as characters The Joker and Peter Pan to work as a street performer in downtown Las Vegas. His wife dressed as The Joker's his girlfriend Harley Quinn.

Why do these gunman never target actual members of the power structure? Like CEO's, lobbyists, politicians and the like? I really don't understand how people can delude themselves to think they know something everyone else doesn't, but clearly have done no homework at all.

Hard to believe they are white supremacists, when they complained about the U.S government being fascist. Also why would they shoot, (presumably) white police officers.

"Krista Koch, another neighbour, said: "They always talked about murdering cops. They were going to kill as many officers as they can, and then they were going to do away with themselves.""

Gee, you think she might have gone to authorities about that? I mean, people run to the cops when you play your music too loud or when you're a litterbug.

Yet these two "always" (her word) talked of murdering police officers and she didn't find that worthy of reporting.

apparently they painted a swastika on a dead cop...being their apparent dumb selves I bet they were trying to imply that the police were facists. Instead, it makes them look like white supremacists.

Perhaps because most of these shootings are false flags? I mean yes, it would make more sense, that if you are going to go to the trouble of shooting someone, you might as well shoot someone who is at the top of the power structure, like an international banker, or CEO.

This wasn't the beginning of a revolution; this was cold-blooded murder plain and simple. These two assholes were most likely just looking for a reason to kill the police and found it in some bullshit ideology that wouldn't match their intentions just to justify it in a way that wouldn't make people see them as run-of-the-mill cop-killers (spoiler alert: they are) by default. They also stole the weapons and badges from the two dead officers after the fact; this seems a lot more personal to me than the idea of "starting a revolution". I think they had a bone to pick with Las Vegas Metro PD in particular and expressed it in this tragic way.

They weren't white supremacists. They put a swastika on the police to signify that they (the police) were acting like Nazi's (just following orders from oppressive leaders)

I've met a number of people who hate the police or the military for no definitive reason. I'm not surprised at all. A criminal record and a history of feeling mishandled by the PD would match up
