I'm in wroclaw, and I am staying in a rented apartment that I got through a local chick. I'm paying $40 a night. I am in the city center called rynek. They don't use euros here though they are in the EU, they use the zloty. It's down to about 3 to 1. This is a college town with a young professional population as well. So time of year does effect the amount of targets.

Thanks for encouraging words but damn... $1k for a return ticket, $2k for a month's furnished rental... all for the chance to get beat while you're walking home alone... what a great deal. I dunno man, I dunno.

I can see why that outlay of $$ from the states makes you hesitate but Poland really is not that bad. You can also get a months rent for much less than that + cost of food, beer etc is much lower of course

Hi Gents,

I will heading back for a second attack on Wroclaw shortly- my first impressions in June were really positive. Aside from the legendary Cafe Manana, are there any other venues you'd recommend for expat pilots (heavy on targets who favour anglo expats, light on aggressive ape men)?

My experience in Poland(krakow) was similar. Only one dude gave us a bad look. The other polish dudes we rolled with that night(randomly came up to us) were very cool and told us they would beat a mother fuckers ass quick if anything happened. Was about 5 of them plus my friend and I. Overall no hostility and didn't see any fights what so ever (stayed out until 3 A.M.) Now Iceland, those motherfuckers were fighting left and right on the weekend like it was fight club.

The women seemed very open, but had the big city vibe: (Resting bitch face until you approached then it was all smiles.) I'd recommend taking some of the day tours, a lot of tourist chicks who don't have shit to do at night, plus it's something to do during the day. Going just for gaming can get tired very quick.
