Prague in November isn't bad. The weather is still manageable and the locals haven't left town.

December on the other hand has its pros and cons. Many locals leave at some point to go to their hometowns for the holidays or to travel with their boyfriends and in their place is an influx of tourists. But the nightlife becomes much better with christmas parties for work and school happening every night and friends going out for drinks before they say goodbye to each other for the year.

RE: Prague
Prague in March isn't dead at all. All the students are in town and they're heavily in social mode because exam season is still far enough away.

It'll be chilly then but the city has one of the best public transportation networks in Europe so nobody spends much time in the cold.
