Bill O'Reilly and the red pill
I was watching Bill O'Reilly's show tonight (he's a political commentator, for those of you who aren't familiar with him). He started talking about the recent UCSB killings, and he seemed to drop a fair amount of red pill knowledge.

Here's the video: http://www.billoreilly.com/video#play

It's Talking Points 5/28/2014.

Pretty good summation. I'm not a big fan of his, but here he nails it.

The thing I know most about Bill is his hilarious "Tide goes in, tide goes out. You cant explain that" (He is a christian, trying to debate an athiest about religion) meme.

Yeah, that's what I normally think of when I see him. I don't agree with him on a lot, but it's good to know that journalism isn't completely dead. At least he's trying to report the facts in this case, unlike CNN who pushes the misogyny angle.

I'm no fan of O'Reilly but he was spot on in that piece and I agree with his reasons behind why this happened.

Bill O'Reilly is the opposite person to be talking about exploiting tragedy for political goal.

If you pay him enough, he'll probably say anything with passion.

A male whore that most of America looks up to.

If you trust Bill O, then you might as well trust Mark Mintor.

I personally like Bill O'Reilly. He is usually spot on except for religion, and the occasional white knighting. His attack on college liberals are excellent.

Spot on, and it's funny when these irrelevant left-leaning journalists blame the manosphere for what happened. Like they say, you cannot rationalize with an irrational mind.

RE: Bill O'Reilly and the red pill
Bill O'Reilly is a piece of shit, but he's dead on in that video. Some of the stuff he said about the Donald Sterling and Mozilla CEO scandals were great too. The sad thing is that just because Bill O'Reilly said it most people will disagree with it in a knee-jerk reaction. If someone with a modicum of credibility and a median viewer age below 65 said what O'Reilly said in that video, it would be a huge victory.

RE: Bill O'Reilly and the red pill
Bill O'Reilly is pretty good for something that is main stream. Far better than anyone/anything on CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN or the joke that is MSNBC.

He is too conservative socially, but economically he is usually on point. He was taking on the race hustlers last summer/fall for about a month period, but then stopped. I don't know why he stopped, maybe it wasn't getting the ratings after a month. But he was kicking the asses of guys like Al Sharpton on a nightly basis giving facts and he even said....

"The plight of the African American community is out of birth wedlocks. And this really falls on the shoulders of the young women, as they have the choice to take birth control and wait until marriage and a more stable situation to raise a child"

That is the most red pill thing you will hear on a large main stream media outlet.

Btw, didn't Pat Buchanan used to be on MSNBC? I'm surprised a liberal news channel even had him. He's pretty much a white nationalist. Same with Glenn Beck.

I think Glenn Beck was on CNN, but when he actually went after liberals and feminists they kicked him off.

I don't know about Pat Buchanan. He might have been on there in an attempt to look legit at one time. I don't think MSNBC even cares anymore. MSNBC's and CNN's ratings are so low that they probably don't even care to try any longer.

RE: Bill O'Reilly and the red pill
Random thoughts.

Pat Buchanan was MSNBC's token rightist, they were just waiting to get rid of him without it looking bad.

Bill O'Reilly annoys me because he used to be big into New World Order Conspiracy stuff, but he dropped talking about anything controversial to make big money and sell a watered down message to white middle america.

Funnily enough, Harry Reid, when he first got elected, was extremely un-PC and anti-Federal Reserve.

Most people sell out to the system. Pat Buchanan is a WN, but at least he's not a sell out.

One guy who gets a lot of unwarranted negative shit attributed to him is Malcom X. If the FBI wouldn't have killed him, I think he could have been more beneficial to American society than MLK was.

Something interesting about Farrakhan. He had a meeting (I think it was with David Duke) with White Nationalists, and he said it was very productive and that they basically agreed on what the most important issues were. Federal Reserve, AIDS was designed for black people, and a few other issues.

In my opinion blacks and whites should be natural allies in the next few decades, but the animosity might be too difficult to overcome. The white middle class and black middle class are both being squeezed by immigration, taxation, and the family law system, so, its disappointing to me that this alliance probably won't happen. You never know though.

It is amazing that that fat black woman from the O'Reilly clip, if she really said those things, is allowed to teach at a university.

I disagree with O'Reilly when he says that race has nothing to do with (mass) murder. His comments about Norway and that guy in Norway killing 77 people a couple of years back are wrong. That was all about race/religion/immigration.

Buchanan is not really a WN but more of a traditionalist in the Woodrow Wilson sense. Buchanan has racist beliefs (like most traditionalists) but they aren't extreme. His foreign policy views are extremely concise though. In this day and age putting a Buchanan in charge would be a bad idea but there is a need for men like this to balance out the extreme left and right on both sides of the political spectrum. Their more traditionalist views ironically become a moderating force and voice of reason in politics.

I try to dispute this type of rationalization for murder, which I see as mislabeling of someone with a severe personality disorder.

Mass murder sometimes is rationalized with racial justification, but more importantly is perpetrated by what I consider, by definition, to be sick personalities.

I have published research on violence, and am a licensed health care practitioner who has worked extensively with probably thousands of violent people.

This is really the correct mental health term in my opinion when we talk about someone who can see physical reality correctly ( The walls are white, the table is black etc.) but has such an inflated sense of entitlement or importance that they self-justify brutality.

Both Brevik and the guy who recently went on a murder spree are, technically speaking, personality disordered.

Someone like Bill Reilly is just cranky, nowhere near the murdering nuts who get in the papers. I get the impression if someone were murdering others for some stupid abstract reason, he would be pretty upset about it. I've seen him correct far-right paranoid guests when they were clearly straying past the limits of realism.

He has a master's from O'Reilly Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government; he received a master of public administration degree in 1996.

So he actually is one of the few people who has studied about government who rants about it.

@ ike: interesting points you make

So are you saying that if Norway had been 100% white and Christian Breivik still would have killed people and would have just come up with a different justification?

We can't know for certain but my guess is that he wouldn't have. I don't think he would have been a normal, well adjusted member of society at all but doubt he would end up killing someone.

O'Reilly is clearly a very intelligent person which is partly why I don't trust him. He reminds me of those tele-evangelists who give a few trite, feel-good pieces of common sense advice and make millions off of the masses. O'Reilly's arguments on various issues fall apart when placed under even a modicum of scrutiny. He regularly constructs arguments that someone of his intelligence should not, in good faith, be making.
