Feminist party in the EU-parliament
Today Sweden will probably embarrass itself yet again internationally. In today's election, the preliminary polls say that the party Feminist Initiative will get a candidate into the EU-parliament. As far as I know this is the first time a purely feminist party has gained any influence anywhere.

Their platform includes - among other things - to dismantle the military along with its industries, to export the Swedish vice law (where the man can be prosecuted for buying sex, the woman gets off scot-free) to the rest of Europe, and a "feminist economy" (whatever that means).

One more reason why I've abstained from voting here... thanks for the update.

I assumed you were exaggerating on this point, but no, I was mistaken. From the site he linked to,

Quote:Dismantle all plans of a defense alliance, a common army and military rearmament. The European countries should contribute to global peace through fair trade, diplomacy and social investments – not through military alliances and weapons program.

Open the borders and disable your own country's ability to defend itself. Then encourage others to do the same. Right... It must be nice to live with an almost child-like naivety of how the world really works.

It's almost pathetically sad that the once feared Vikings gave rise to this kind of crap. Let their society degenerate it's only a matter of time.

RE: Feminist party in the EU-parliament
You do not understand the greater political meaning this entails. The feminist party (Fi) gaining a member in the EU parliament is a GOOD thing. The reason for this are the EU voting blocs.

They draw votes away from the socialists and the left party. While at the same time having such radical views that they have to seriously pull back on them in order for any voting bloc to accept them.

In the EU parliament election this effect is fairly tangible but can have truly great great effect in the national election this autumn. That's where Fi will likely draw entire percentages from the lefts but still be far far from joining the Swedish parliament. Think of them as Ralph Nader.

I'm not sure that is the case. This election will show crazy bitches worldwide that there is a real possibility to get elected on a feminist platform. I do agree that in a EU perspective they will have little to no influence during this term, especially considering that the far-right has made big gains throughout Europe.

I see Fi as the feminist canary in the coal mine - as happened to the Pirate Party in the previous election, a bunch of copycat sister parties will likely spring up throughout Europe. Unlike the Pirate Party, I think they could gain - and keep - seats, especially since the powers that be continually push for feminism and LGBT'ism in the media.

I do think that this is a prelude to the national election as well. They may not necessarily gain a seat in the parliament, but they have already forced feminism as a prioritised agenda for all the other parties (even more so than usual in feminist Sweden), who are more than happy to appease the feminist harpies.

RE: Feminist party in the EU-parliament
That they have non-existant political power is the reality of today.

For tomorrow, to get seats and keep them they have to be able to play politics. At this they are worthless. Their entire party Cadre is made up of occupational politicians and university personell or unemployed. There's not a single STEM graduate among them.

My prediction - they will make fools of themselves as the spotlight really hits them and see a fast exit in an election down the line.

You should see the treatment being dished out to the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) since their success in our European elections. Their main angle is to get us out of the EU, on the ground of both high immigration and the inability to effectively make our own laws without clearance from Brussels.

They're being slaughtered on social media and called everything under the sun, from far-right, to neo-nazis, woman-haters - the lot.

The nightmare is fast becoming the reality. This noose of political correctness seems to be getting tighter and tighter.

RE: Feminist party in the EU-parliament
@Caledonian It's true that UKIP have been getting a hard time from the mainstream media and on the internet, but it just goes to show, that a significant proportion of the UK electorate either paid no attention to this nonsense, or weren't inclined to spend half their lives online, like a lot of the haters do.
I think there's a gradual increase in people realising that a lot of what they read in the papers, magazines and online is very heavily skewed towards a liberal agenda, and is therefore only representing one side.
People are making up their own minds, and I think are (thankfully) not quite the mindless sheep the mainstream media would like them to be.

RE: Feminist party in the EU-parliament
A new party has been created in response to the feminist intiatives (F!) called male intiatives (M!) you should se all the feminist hate they get on their facebook page. They are basically standing for equality without making the women the victim like F! are. i have yet to se their other agendas though but the page was created yesterday about this time i am posting this and has already gotten 15000 likes on their page.

God in heaven, if Hilary gets elected I know over a dozen guys that are prepared to pack their bags and head for Brazil or Chile, even I'm increasingly considering it.

The good news is that Eurosceptics are winning all over the continent, we need a counterweight to this bullshit.

Want to know what else is funny?

Every other political party has smelled the wind of change and is jumping on the bandwagon of anti-EU movement. Dodgy

I hope UKIP go onto rustling more of these people because quite frankly the people who support open borders are soft-headed and illogical.

There are too few good workers coming through when compared with the freeloaders.

Vicious, I'm actually interested in your take on Sweden. You always speak on threads like this, but could you explain what the average Swede thinks about:

- Feminism
- Islam/Immigration
- The E.U
- Progressivism

Bullshit, if women ruled the world the human race would be extinct by now.

Feminist party... I wonder if they would be cool with a "masculine party" created to push the "male economy"...

That's an essay. And there's no such thing as the average Swede when it concerns opinions. There's 7 parties in parliament for a population of 10 million.

The exact same thing can be said of the US govt. Theyre all either lawyers or businessmen. I think Angela Merkel is one of the few heads of state with a scientific background.

LMAO that's never gonna happen. The Netherlands (who has more seats in the European parliament) is gonna block that if they're ever gonna try to export that stupid law.

SMH. Those Swedish feminazis are seriously deluded.

Sweden used to have one of the freest market in world. The wealth generated from that, is what allowed for all these ideological misadventures. I honestly believe in the next ten years, we will see a significant degeneration from within that country. They now even have left wing militants who attack those who don't adhere to the politically correct line, and this is celebrated by the media.

Huh? If anything the left militant actions have died down the last decade. Groups like ATTAC and RIM that spearheaded the 2001 EU summit riots are no longer around. There's little organization among left extremists. They suffer more from infighting.

Seriously if you have nothing to add to the topic but are just interjecting general hearsay on the nation you are quickly revealing yourself as an ignoramus.

That is true. I have seem a number of times. Put to lefties in a room, and you will have three opinions on every subject. They are their own worst enemy.

HaHaHa, Brasil and Chile? The most feminist countries in Latinamerica? Chile just had an unmarried female pres. a few years and Brasil has a current female pres.
Both countries would be headed in the same direction as the US.
