Rodger may have been unstable to begin with, but its not hard to see how the message of hopelessness he heard at puahate could have pushed him over the edge.

That is a terrible website, along with all of the other "incel" websites. Hopefully that sote stays dead.
Any place where losers congregate to tear others down or rip each other apart is all about destruction. Nothing good ever comes of it. They are looking to shake their fist at the world and a scene like that only attracts misanthropes and the mentally weak.

Indeed. It's the polar opposite of this place.

They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety- Benjamin Franklin, as if you didn't know...

I'm pleased this is so stringently moderated, proof is in the quality and content on the forum. A drop in standards of moderation would worry me but I had to work hard to become a member of this forum, I don't see why other newbies should not, we all worked hard to get through that process and to contribute, changing it would be detrimental. Keep it up guys.

I would say that I am not entirely normal, a big reason I am redpill. Ive read many posts in this forum about guys who find it hard to make friends with bluepillers/the general public, so I dont think I am alone on this. I think guys on the RVF are more self aware and enlightened, but less "normal".

What would the standards of normalcy be? I wouldnt want to accidentally break the rules.

Rule of thumb...if you think that your probably shouldn't do something, you probably shouldn't do it.

Don't stay away from political threads, but post something responsible and then leave it at that. Don't keep coming back to argue.

Don't post on race threads. Nothing is every achieved through these. Ignore them completely.

Instead of starting threads, just contribute to other people's threads for a while. If you really need advice and you aren't able to find a related thread after extensive searching, start one in the newbie forum.

Look for ways to contribute. Ask yourself where you special area of expertise is and then put together a very informative post on the topic.

Try to meet some other members once you have a reasonable post count. You'll learn a lot about the forum when you start putting faces to user names.

Off-topic question: Why are forums still on American Datacenter servers? The general not so serious prediction (also made by Roosh himself, if I remember correctly) is, that the Manosphere will be criminalized and they already try to use it as a scape goat for the recent events.

The former is a lot easier and has a hell of a lot less risk. I recognize the latter is akin to inviting a destructive force into your home.

It's very difficult to accept that doing nothing is the only thing that can be done.

As you get older, you'll learn to recognise the difference between those who are capable of learning, and those whose mental issues make them lost causes, and will just have a toxic, destructive influence on your life. Some people just cannot be helped, instead, they will use your concern and attention to manipulate you emotionally.

This shooter did *not* want help - he was too arrogant and full of himself to believe anyone else could have provided him with that. If he came here, (or anywhere else), he would simply want us to function as an audience who recognised his genius, and when we didn't, would have burnt everything to the ground out in narcissistic fury.

I watched this movie the other night:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RAC0uwuIr8

I thought it was a great illustration of how trying to help the mentally-weak ends up dragging a strong man down.

My sincerest thanks for this answer, as well as the posts from drageur, roberto, and hwuzhere. I've spent the last couple of days mulling thoughts in my head and you are right. My initial gut emotion to try and look for a quick fix was understandable, but naive. Reaching out to people who are damaged beyond repair will not result in any guaranteed outcome other than putting the community at risk. In order for this community to survive it needs to have the same standards in place that it has always had. I'd delete my posts because they no longer reflect my viewpoint, but you all addressed it very well and it might help others that are having the same thoughts.

The commonly said phrase of "enjoy the collapse" comes to mind, it's a nice bit of gallows humor. Most of us would rather that things were different, but we have to deal with things the way that they are, not the way that we wish them to be.

I've got a busy life, so I don't post here often, but have appreciated the wisdom accessible through this community. This Rodgers dude was an effiminate freak job, who knows what could have helped him and who cares. Bottom line, Roosh is a hero for all to look up to. Haters are going to find any way they can to misconstrue an individual's words and writings to further their own cause. This is especially true, when they are trying to attack an individual like Roosh, who is so effectively dismantling the mainstream narrative regarding what men are supposed to desire, and the methods they are prescribed to achieve those desires. Feminists know their ideology is inherently and catastrophically flawed, and their attacks on red-pill thought are just a little more hay for their straw man. Once again, Roosh, you have a special place in Valhalla waiting for you.

Looks like the MSM are using this attack manosphere forums, placing PUAs in some form of hate group, even though its the equivalent of Cosmo for men. Recently the Daily Mail did some sham piece of journalism calling for this site to be banned.

I believe that they are genuinely fearful of MGTOW, no more backs to work off the debt accumulated.
