If you want to help do this.

Get some money together and get him away from your parents and in his own space.

Even if it means you loan him the first six to years rent - even for a studio or share.

most mental-emotional issues are due to:

1. Health issues - poor diet, lack of exercise

2. Being around poisonous people or people whose personalities are simply incompatible with your own.

3. Being forced to work in a field that is grossly incapitable with one's personality.

I suspect with your bro - its 1 and 2 that at play here.

and the most dangerous destructive people can be your own parents - i have seen it millions of times. Get him away from them asap - he has outgrown them and doesnt need that that close anymore.

If you truly care about him, get him the hell out of there. Put him in an appartment, share the expenses with your other brother, and start the education. Put him back to school and take care of him. Get him a job. Cut the links with his mother especially, and cut all financial links with the parents so he doesn't have to need them for anything. You 2 are his new parents. You're in for a 10+ years but in the long run, it's worth it.
