From start-to-finish this was a great World Cup. Probably the best tournament I've seen in my lifetime. The Germans seemed to smother every country they played save for Ghana. The Germans are boring but... as we used to say as kids in the US, "Scoreboard!"

The golden ball should have gone to James Rodriguez or Arjen Robben. Or if it had to be a player from Germany, Thomas Muller or Toni Kroos.
