Briefs for me... never really got the hang of boxers.

Perhaps wearing tighter underwear has no effect, similar to breasts and bras as you pointed out. Scrotal sagging, however, has everything to do with gravity. Anything that hangs is subject to gravity.The scrotum will ultimately start to weaken with age from expanding and contracting with the weight of your balls your whole life.

The muscle might stop functioning efficiently with advanced age, but the notion that a muscle will just wear out because it was working hard is ridiculous. How do you strengthen muscles? You make them work. There's nothing special about nut muscle that changes the rules. The article is internally inconsistent in that it suggests fighting gravity "wears out" the muscle, but that kegels will help by conditioning the muscle--which seems inaccurate to me in any case because the scrotal muscle isn't activated by kegels. Given its function it makes excellent sense that we can't control the muscle voluntarily.

The probably-correct reason some people suffer from low hanging balls is simple genetics.

ive been wearing boxer briefs sporadically for the last year or so because boxers are too uncomfortable when exercising. usually i wear boxers, and have been since i was about 10 years old or so.

i have noticed a few differences between boxers and boxer briefs. heres the list.

1. briefs increase cock and ball scent enormously. i think because briefs compact cock n balls and decrease the breath-ability.
2. boxers are much more comfortable, in most circumstances
3. briefs look sexier

bottom line...
-`boxers are better for everyday use.`briefs are better for certain occasions, like the gym. frankly, when you're with a beeyach in your undergarments, it doesnt really matter what undies youre wearing. for example, ive never had a chick deny me sex, at the last minute because of my underwear choice.

Boxer briefs. Don't like everything just swinging around freely - well, certain situations aside.
Also I have muscular thighs (genetics, leg exercises are low priority in my workout) and in the summer if I sweat - and with any kind of activity my body isn't particularly well adjusted to temperatures above mid 20s Celsius - I can get some nasty chafing. With most types of sports shorts I even have to wear proper tights (like running shorts or specially designed running underwear) underneath the shorts to keep my upper thighs from scraping against each other.

Boxer briefs now for heavy walking due to thick thighs. The chaffing is pretty bad otherwise. However your balls and thighs will sweat more and some materials are unbearable in really hot weather. Boxers have better airflow, but bunch up when you walk.

Boxers bunch up when I sit down and get up repeatedly pain in the ass readjusting them as they come out of my pants as well, but I personally think my junk would feel seriously constricted in boxer briefs/briefs.
