"SOCIALITE fraudster Tina Louise McPhee, who stole millions of dollars from vulnerable clients to fund a lavish “Walter Mitty lifestyle”, was jailed today for at least 10 years.

McPhee, 40, was sentenced to 13 years behind bars, with a non-parole period of 10 years, after pleading guilty to scores of fraud charges against her victims, including children.

The money was used to fund a lavish lifestyle and plastic surgery - including “breast enhancement” work - while her brain injured and vulnerable victims struggled to survive."

Good to see that she got 10 years jail, but the hamster is alive and well, claiming she was sexually molested as a child.

Finally one case with no pussy pass. If she had gotten excused or gotten slapped on the wrist because of "previous issues", I would have been mad.

I'm angry at her for thinking it was okay to steal from people who worked very hard to build up some wealth. And she probably still thinks she was right and is a victim and will learn nothing from it.

I want to use the system to my advantage to live a good life. But I don't want to steal from other people to get ahead. I don't want to steal from other people because I know it is wrong, but more so because those people have worked hard for their keep and it isn't right for me to just take it without some honest service in exchange.

Personally Im not dark triad so I dont particularly bother trying to gain something if its a net loss if you include other peoples suffering. I try to discourage other people from doing things which are net losses to me.

We're mad because we worry people are out there like this and one day it might be us or our parents who get screwed. The anger comes from self-protection.

We're angry because when we play a game, we expect the other person not to cheat. When we were kids and we came across another kid who constantly cheated at everything, what did we do? We didn't play with him or we roughed him up if we were really pissed.

It's human nature to want to live by some code. Otherwise we have chaos. We get annoyed at people like this because they're the adult version of the kid that cheated at flipping baseball cards and tried to talk away with your valuable cards.

We like to see justice because it represents to us the one kid who stood up to the cheater and said "Come back here now and hand over the baseball cards or your ass is mine."

Their first warning sign should have been trusting a woman to manage their money. I'm curious what certifications/licenses she had.

I'm not mad that she did any of this. I'm disgusted that she did it to people with brain damage.

In a just world all her money and property would be seized, sold, and the profits given back to the victims. Then she'd be taken to the gallows and hung instead of spending 10 years in a women's prison.

So let's say she does her time, gets out and changes her name to "Tina Exfelonia" She contacts one of us, or someone in our family and offers to manage their money, which happens to be a service they need.

How do we research "Tina" and make sure she isn't shady? Google will show little result. If she's a smart psycho, it shouldn't be too hard to create false references, people she's "helped", etc.

All I can think of is a personal friend we know who can vouch for them. Other thoughts?

This is what pissed me off too. Not the taking advantage, but doing it to people with brain damage.
